Personally I think Dorian is out. Remember DG didn't seem to remember/know who Dorian was. Of course he could've been faking, but I'm not sure. I think Solas or Vivienne replaced him, and hopefully we'll get an unknown (as of yet) third female mage. (Though I'd prefer female rogue)

I'd be sad if Dorian was out, because I rather liked his character. Maybe in the next Dragon Age game? If we're headed more toward Tevinter as the series progresses? Another female mage would nice. Another female anything would be nice. Two additional female anythings would be amazing. 
If DHMG is out, then I'm even more convinced that Cullen is a companion. Without DHMG, then there's only one other possible human male, and it's the Grey Warden. Whom I view as an unlikely LI. Possible? Anything is possible. But unlikely.
It bugs me a little how sure everyone is about everything. The Grey Warden is definitely in and definitely a warrior. DHMG is definitely a mage and definitely Dorian and definitely a companion. Cullen is definitely an NPC. Scribe Girl is definitely an NPC. We have definitely seen all possible companions.
People are definitely a little overconfident. Is all that above possible? Yes. But it's not for sure, not yet.

Yes, Dorian being a human male is so terrible problematic for us. That's another HUUUGE reason I want him out. Of course, I wouldn't be complaining too much if I found him at least marginally attractive But it's still disheartening.

I get it, though. I kind of envy people's utter surety about some things, but on the other hand, I would hate to be as disappointed as some of them are going to be, because ALL THE THINGS *cannot* be true, ya know?

Well someone has to be disapointed anyways, it's not like Bioware are going to make all LI's and companions that people want. And well I have seen some people being upset that Cullen is even in the game so Bioware couldn't even make people happy with giving tell all companions and LI's since some don't want them in the game XD
I just hope it's not going to be me who is disapointed ^^;
