I'm hoping more events are announced for this week, even if it's just interviews.

Hmm... yes he did say that about the budget. However, this leads me to suspect the number of romances was always more than 4. We never actually heard how many romances there were going to be in the game, and although we still don't know now many, we know it's going to be more than previous games. So as I said, I suspect the amount of romances was always more than we were thinking, therefore, the budget wouldn't need to be increased, nor will we need to be concerned that the content will be less. If that makes any sense at all.

Mmm, I might not be following, but he was comparing it to past games. Not DAI development up until that point.

You're the second person to complain about that. :\ All I was trying to say, in the context of the conversation in the thread at the time, is that as much as I want to hear more about Cullen, I'd rather the people who don't even know their prospective favorites' names get that information first.

 

EDIT: And DHMG in particular because so many of us thought for sure he was going to be the reveal on Sunday when it was Vivienne instead.

I was impressed, but it was rather short. But the facial mimics during conversations were really good. Novigrad also looks fantastic.

I wonder if they were just showing us all those companions during the lead up to E3, was because we see them a lot in the demos? Although, we've seen a lot of maybe!Dorian too, and still no confirmation for him...

They really haven't discussed the different classes yet or their special abilities, maybe that's something they'll cover?

LOL - I'm not surprised. What I meant was things that DG has said not what Mike said in the interview today. Mike said today that we'll get more romances than in any previous game. DG has stated that the budget hasn't increased. We've been worried that this will mean that the romances won't be as meaningful as in the past. However, DG never stated how many romances there were FROM THE BEGINNING. So what I mean is, they may have always intended for there to be more than just 4 romances, hence there would be no need to increase the budget. So with Mike announcing there would be more romances in this game doesn't mean that each romance will have less content. Am I clear as mud now?
