i have no more likes. i call BS on this. i think they throttle down on these things to suit their own bandwith needs, and it has nothing to do w/however many likes, or not, you've actually given out.

Yeah I agree, I doubt it will have anything to do with the actual main quest. But then, I could be wrong. Because I am wrong, a lot.

I think it would be a bit stupid/counter-inituative to be so hush hush about the characters and plot, and then stick a climatic battle in the middle of a demo. Perhaps it's the end of a particular arc, but not the whole game.

Personally, I'm think a Dorian-Centric quest, like the Act 2 companion quests in DA2

It had me worried to but I don't think they would show us the final battle......would they?!

 

I'm gonna assume they meant last stand as in just for that scene? the characters *don't* know if they're gonna live to see the next day. And like you said, i don't think they would show us the final battle. I'm pretty sure the actual final battle would be on a more epic scale than that scene. :3

 I think it's possible, since we seem to be in Redcliff, that we are closing a tear there. It may have been caused by the mages or whoever they were that we fought in the demo. Leliana was possibly sent ahead to scout out the area, but was caught, and the Inquisitor went to investigate. Seeing the Veil in such a bad state demanded they stay and close it. But of course, closing a tear cannot be easy, especially one at that size. There seem to be those who want this tear to remain, so some companions remain behind the door to hold them off while the Inquisitor and Dorian work the amulet to close the rift.

It could be a combination of the two. Leliana gets kidnapped by the mages and that's how we meet Dorian?

Maybe this focus is something that builds up over the course of the battle and depending on whether you build up enough will determine if you can use it more than once.

It makes sense that they would limit such powerful spells. Makes me wonder what other "Focus" spells we have.
