Okay, is the only demo from today where Mike Laidlaw is talking over everything? I took mad screenshots but the quality wasn't very good that I saw. I can kinda hear Dorian's voice but not really enough.

Aww, if I could make recommendations I would! I have been dropping hints on twitter. Things such as: Cullenites would be the best participants! *cough* and replying to others tweets so they would see the tag of people Yeah it didn't work. Lol.

Hmm, while Mike stated the location of the Dorian quest/whatever was Redcliffe castle, could it be possible that it was sucked i the Fade? It'd explain the Fade background, the fact that the Inquisitor has to do a spell with a necklace to solve the issue (the PC should be able to close the tears by himself), and the fact that sera 'dies'. She just experienced what Hawke's companions did.
A bit far-fetched, maybe?

 

No, that is a possibility. I would imagine that the the veil in Redcliffe would be rather weak after what happened in DAO and would be susceptible to breaches from the fade.

It's the thought that counts! 

Also won't keep be fully releasing in a couple months? I remember it being said that they wanted keep out at least a month before DAI so they could make sure they could handle the over flow. I can last that long.

So I have awoken. IB sounds bisexual. Bad news for me, I was hoping he was straight the sake of all my other Cullenites, (I refuse to believe anything more than 2/2/2 for now), and he seems the shag anything that moves type. Just gonna have to hope our Lady Bisexual is a bit more reserved.

So IGN demo, where is it? Was it good?

 

OMG I actually hadn't thought of that!!!    I guess I've just been so relieved that my character might actually get to romance someone I kind of like. Well, the whole "more romances than any other BioWare game" makes me think even the 2/2/2 is out the window.

 

Of course the whole "will hop into bed with anyone" could simply be a way to describe his character, and not a hint at his being a LI at all.

 

I will say that if IB is a LI, that throws all over predictions out the window!

 

I'm not so anxious and depressed now though... I feel I finally have hope that I could have good news in the romance department.

 

I've been quietly letting go of Cullen for some time now.

Lol, not as big a Dorian fan as most others. I don't really like his concept or his hair and facial hair.

 

I... I thought I was the only one on the entire forum!  I was thinking, maybe it's the whole hipster facial hair craze sweeping the younger generations that's causing so many people to like the Charlie Chaplin villain / 70s porn mustache.

Yeah, his nose is pretty great, I must say. But his eyes are derped up in almost every picture from that demo. Kinda ruins my whole Stephen Fry but without the raw sex appeal hopes for him.

And I'm only cautious about thinking more than 2/2/2 because I don't want to think about the romances being stretched to thin and ending up with proper flimsy ones that come with maybe one extra scene. Probably over exaggerating, but still.

Guuuurl I know! Me too! But I've waited way too long to romance Cullen! He will be my first romance in DAI and depending on how decent his romance is, I'll decide to romance Dorian. Unless he's gay, then I'll wait further down the line to play as a guy. I don't like playing as a guy though since I'm female. I'll do what I have to do, though!

For me, it's primarily the soul patch. Hate those. I'd be fine with the moustache on his own, but he also has the hair of every chavvy boy at my college. And the totally 80s upturned collar is really bad.

I'm not really into Dorian, don't really like the whole curly mo thing (which probably sounds a bit shallow  ). No, I'm aiming for Cullen, IB and then Sera in that order

Me neither to be honest,maybe It's because his looks (minus the moustache) are very common where I live,hell I even have a relative that looks a lot like him,so he's nothing special to me as far as the looks department is concerned.
This doesn't mean that I won't like his character of course,but still Cullen especially the way he looks now, is more my type.

I always find playing as a guy changes how I make my decisions, which I find strange. It's still me playing lol I do sometimes confuse myself though. I played as a female in Origins a couple times before playing a guy and I caught myself thinking I was going to romance Alistair before I realized I was playing a dude. c__c

This happens to me in every single playthrough,I really get into my characters mindset whoever that is.

I know what you mean, but I'm so awful and selfish that I'd be willing to sacrifice content if it meant I got to romance Cullen LOL! It's horrible, I know. But UGHHH I've just wanted it to happen for so long! 

 

Well, in any case, regardless of what happens, I think I'll write a part 3 (and final part) of my Cullen x quizzy fic. Maybe for page 2000. Could be my farewell to the pairing, who knows at that point? Sigh.
