They're referring to the footage showing Leliana, Dorian, and the female qunari inquisitor, I think. I really hope that isn't a last stand involving the main plot - because that's too much of a spoiler, imo.

About halfway through the E3 Day 1 video, there's a scene where the party splits, and the Inquisitor and Dorian go through one door while Leliana, Iron Bull, and Sera remain behind. Iron Bull and Sera then walk through a different door while Leliana readies her bow for combat. At that point in the video, Mike Laidlaw says that it's a very dark scene (in today's video, he said "And here's Leliana, buying you some time"). A moment later, the door opens and a terror demon creeps in, accompanied by other demons who toss Sera's apparently lifeless body to the floor.

 

@ilikesocks: You asked where ML said that it was possible to end the game with only one companion. It's in the Day 1 video, at the 18 minute mark.

 lol I actually bite elbows if I'm feeling particularly feisty....... but no it wouldn't. I accidentally gave him a black eye while watching the first paranormal activity, that was years ago and he still brings it up to this day. In fact, he refuses to watch horror movies with me anymore.

 

But he does put up with my fawning over Cullen, so he is a keeper.

Cullen is absolutely my dream LI for Dragon Age. I like the other characters they have shown. However the only one I want is him.

But on the upside, I've signed up for another shot at a DAI playtest next week!!!!! Keeping all fingers and toes crossed I get in 

 

Oh and Dorian's derpy eyes? I think part of the problem is in some of those screenshots he doesn't appear to have pupils.

Yeah, also when Mike started on about how they'd made heaps of romances, I couldn't help but wonder if it means that under set criteria quite a few of our companions/advisors will be romanceable instead of the largely assumed 2-2-2 split.  So maybe Varric (if and only if you are dwarf), Ironbull (if you're breathing - hehe) etc.  I hope so, it will give so much more value to replaying with different characters.

It was in Twitch. He said there would be more romances than in any other Bioware game, which I'm taking with a pinch of salt.

1st play through: Female human Inquisitor - Cullen

2nd Play through: Female Qunari Inquisitor - IB

3rd play through: Female elven Inquisitor - Sera

I am so confussed by it. Okay so we have pages back where someone said DG "confirmed" Cole is to unstable to be an LI (makes sense) Then take out Leliana because well she was already an LI I DAO. So that leaves us with 10 possible LI's or what......it hurts my head....would 10 be the most Bioware has ever done in a game. Thats what ML said right the most romances of any bioware game?
