I haven't played DA2 but I remember him being in DA:O for about, five minutes.

Yup. If you haven't played DA2, I can see how he might be forgettable. His role in DA2 was much larger, though. He was a dedicated templar, committed to the Order (but *not* to the abuses many templars seemed to commit), and defined by an abiding sense of duty.

I like them they're interesting and grey,but I also like the Starks.

I like them all except perhaps Tywin even though he's a well written character there are some things I just can't overlook,plus I'm also a huge Martell fan and I'm not saying what happened before the beginning of the series,because spoilers.
