We don't actually know, which is why it's so interesting to me. My "suggestion" is that one of the Inquisition's soldiers got it for him, so Cullen is wearing it not to be rude.

 

Or maybe he's partially Orlesian, and wearing it due to his lineage. We still don't know his last name, after all.

 

Or maybe it's an Orlesian cultural thing, where generals wear these kinds of masks.

 

Or maybe he's hiding his identity for some reason.

 

Or maybe he lost a bet with Morrigan.

 

Or maybe his face isn't really finished yet, so the Devs stuck the lion head on him.

So in the Twitch interview, MD says DAI will have more romances than any other BW game (he clarified later to say he meant more than any other DA game). He says he doesn't want to give numbers... (why?)

 

ML continues, saying there's "a large number of them" and that they "come in a wide variety of flavors" (strawberry Cullen?).

 

Is six a large number? 

 

I think if it were simply 2/2/2 they'd say so at this point.

I actually think that with 9 companions and 3 Advisers that getting 8 romances is not a long shot, I just think there might be restrictions on some other than sexual preference. 

 

Random Examples: Iron Bull will be Bi but he will only sleep with Humans or Qunari

 

Solas will be straight but he will only be interested in other elves or mages

 

Get my drift?

 

Edit: I can't remember where I read this but I remember some article saying that the LI's would have certain preferences, why does that have to be contained to a sexual preference
