Unf. That high dragon's reactivity when hit in certain areas.
When it started limping because it's leg was hurt I kinda felt bad for her. Poor Dragon

That's what I'd like to do as well!
Why why are Mages always shown as bad. You know there are a lot that have a level head. Gaaaww like the only good mages in the world are the 3 followers and perhaps the Inquisitor.
Okay im done ranting.

Actually, from what I've seen, most of the time mages are shown in a very sympathetic light while Templars are the big mean bastard oppressors. I think what makes this issue interesting is that it's too complicated to just paint with a black and white brush, though-- not that it stops people from trying to paint it with a black and white brush, mind.

In that new one, with the dwarf warrior? They were killing templars too. It seemed to me that maybe the Inquisition had had enough of everyone's sh!t. ![]()

@Cameron__Lee: RT @GamesRadar: Excited to command and build the Inquisition in Dragon Age? Here's how some of that system works: http://t.co/YngADa6wKd
!!!!!
In my demo, a party member is sent to go undercover and infiltrate a Mage stronghold. Unfortunately, by the time the player's party arrives to mop up, said party member has been captured and is being tortured. We recover her, but she (understandably) has developed a hatred for Mages--so, during a crucial interaction with the stronghold's Mage leader, she has little patience for words, and goes on a murderous rampage of revenge. Would this have played out differently had another party member been sent in her stead? Oh, yes--or so I'm told.
?!?!?!?!?!
This is obviously referring to the scene with Leliana in the demo. Oh God. We could send Cullen in there. [MAKES SMALL NOISES OF DISMAY] I'm torn on if he'd be better equipped to handle that situation better, or if it'd be so much worse for him.

I saw no templars. All I will say of its complex and there is no choosing sides then why do we have to stop the conflict by...yep you guessed it big bad mage at the end.In that new one, with the dwarf warrior? They were killing templars too. It seemed to me that maybe the Inquisition had had enough of everyone's sh!t.
I have mixed feelings about it. So long as its all equal in the game and it comes off as complex I will be okay.
Also I dont want this to turn into a mage templar debate.
So how about that awesome new fighting style!! I like how mages don't fling the staff around like DA2. Looks better

I'm a terrible person for wishing the INQUISITOR could go in there undercover and get captured and tortured. Why are the companions the only ones getting the brutal, torturous development fun?

Oh boy. I'm going to have so many savegame files, I'll probably crash my computer. lol
This game is going to be great for extra playthroughs for all the different scenarios that could play out.

Well, we don't know if all companions will be tortured. Maybe they'll do better than Leliana.I'm a terrible person for wishing the INQUISITOR could go in there undercover and get captured and tortured. Why are the companions the only ones getting the brutal, torturous development fun?

Well we can't go being all hero like all the time. Gotta give others the chance to get tortured and become unstable people.

True, but still. Would totally send my Inquisitor into that scenario to get tortured. It's all character development! And I like seeing my companions fret over my characters. ![]()

Yup. Though I think Leliana's phrase isn't only about the torture. It's possible she's affected by the events at the start of the game.Well, that reviewer sounds like he sent Leliana in, cause she went batshit in there, killing that guy's son.

But if you go so a friend wont be possible caught/tortured then you are still being a hero if even unknown. At least in my opinion.
