Yup. Though I think Leliana's phrase isn't only about the torture. It's possible she's affected by the events at the start of the game.

I'm not sure I could see Leliana going on a rampage.. - maybe Scribe Lady? We don't know anything about her yet.

I'll definitely send Cullen (if only the advisors can be sent). I know there's a risk he'll get captured, but I don't use my knowledge to make choices, and for my Inquisitor It'd make sense to send a templar against mages.
It'll be different if he doesn't have templar abilities anymore though.

But if you go so a friend wont be possible caught/tortured then you are still being a hero if even unknown. At least in my opinion.

 

So a friend won't be caught? Bugger that, I just want to put my character through some horrible sh!t.  I always find 'no one can beat/capture the main character!' stuff pretty boring. Besides, it would mean the companions would have to rescue the Inquisitor's arse, thus giving them the hero moment.

Nah, I think Cullen would be perfect for the mission, with his templar abilities. And he's used to be tortured by mages, so he won't freak out as Leliana (to clarify, it's a joke).

Nah, i think it's Leliana. LadyInsanity's breakdown suggested she didn't react well in the demo.

Killing Felix might not have been the craziest thing she's ever done.

In Lady Insanity's analysis, she makes it sound as if Alexius is keeping Felix alive through magical means, much as Quentin reanimated Leandra. If that is the case, I can see how it might actually be a sensible thing to do, even if it did upset Alexius.

This is obviously referring to the scene with Leliana in the demo. Oh God. We could send Cullen in there. [MAKES SMALL NOISES OF DISMAY] I'm torn on if he'd be better equipped to handle that situation better, or if it'd be so much worse for him.

Yes! Everything you said.   Finding out the context of this scene is pretty darn exciting imo.  Our advisers, well...it really seems their roles are a mite more involved than we were inclined to think at first.  I'm so anxious to get my hands on this game and really find out all the things.

I actually don't know that he'd react "terribly".  I think, sometimes, we (I know *I* do, at least.) underestimate how utterly strong Cullen's character is. I mean his strength of character. That was badly worded.

 

He may, in a situation like that, just lay waste to the entire place, solve the problem and get the hell out. (It's a nice sounding scenario, at any rate. )
