Good point I had not even thought of that! That would be perfect: we would have a warrior, rogue and a mage as advisors.

Being a gay guy myself, I was very emotional when they announced that Sera is a female only LI because Dragon Age finally has it's first homosexual companion which is always welcome in the gaming community. Now let's keep our fingers crossed that Dorian is a male only LI.
I think it's exciting, too. Depending on how the story unfolds, I may very well roll a male inquisitor for my second playthrough if this is the case. Cullen is the no.1 must romance for me, but I'm curious to see which followers I will click with during the game. Personality is key, after all ; )
*sigh* I was catching up on the twitter thread and there were so many arguments about having all LIs available to everyone. Some people feel they've just had the door slammed in their face for Sera. Seeing so many people upset is kinda depressing.
I think she may be a Lucrosian Mage.
Heres the description from the wiki:
Lucrosians prioritize the accumulation of wealth, with the gaining of political influence a close second. They are few in number.
That would be interesting, and would bring the mage count to four I think, not counting the inquisitor!

I can understand why those people are upset, but at the same time, I think it is a really nice step forward for Bioware to make some romances ONLY homosexual. It makes the homosexual community feel more included AND it gives the companions a sort of realism that was missing when they were all bi/player-sexual. I am going to roll a female Inquisitor just so I can romance Sera in one playthrough. I'm heterosexual in real life but Sera just seems like such a great character. Bioware writes their characters so well and with them having more romances this time than in any other Bioware game, I'm sure everyone will find SOMEONE they can romance or learn to love. There will be lots of choice in this game even if there are a few restrictions here and there.
Besides, Bioware writing is amazing so I think we will come to love MOST of the characters.

What a great week it has been! I know that with two days of E3 left, there's more coming, and I will greedily lap up all the info they share, but my curiosity is feeling pleasantly sated. Or at least appeased. I know that people are still on tenterhooks about Cole, and we still don't have a name for Scribbles, but my burning questions have been answered, and I can enjoy digesting the info at leisure. If it's any consolation, I do feel guilty about my contentment. It's a lot like the guilt I felt after getting my power back less than 24 hours after a hurricane when I knew there were people who wouldn't get power back for another 2 weeks.

I'm not surprised. It's amazing. 
To be honest, I doubt Dorian's inclusion as an LI more than I doubt him being the gay male LI. And I'm certain he's a LI.

I hope Dorian is available to female Inquisitors. Of course, if he isn't, c'est la vie, right? I am also interested in Solas and Iron Bull, besides Cullen.

Yeah I have hopes for some LIs but if they don't happen well then meh. It is kind of the reason why we get to know the orientations before the game starts so I can choose accordingly.
