Maybe it's just me, but he didn't look all that much older than the others. Mid-to-late 30s, I'd say. He's had a hard life and has been out in all kinds of weather, so it shows on his face, but he isn't 90. The followers/LIs *all* seem to be a bit older this time, and that's refreshing.
"There's also the possibility that his relationships may change over time." There's a lot of wiggle room in those words. Sheryl might have been referring to something more than his ability to tolerate Sera.

I agree, everyone seems to be in the 30-40 range and I like it (if Shep, Revan, and the Inquisitor are all significantly older than me I still have adventures to look forward to, right? The Warden made me feel a tiny bit old). Especially if his grey streaks from the concept art are gone for good.
