To be honest, I think Cassandra hauling Cullen's arse out of the fire ala female Shepard with Ash/Kaidan would be far more IC.

I know we discussed this the other day, but it occurred to me on the walk to work this morning that even if he was still holding any degree of a torch (I don't think he would be), finding out that (for most? people) Surana/Amell knowingly allowed an Old God to come back to life (?) would probably be a deal-killer for him. I'm a little unclear on the lore here but that seems like a bad decision for an Andrastian.

 

edit: Like above is for the helplessness thing and doesn't mean I think Cassandra is (definitely/necessarily/demonstrably) a better person (at present).

I'm not concerned. Ever run into someone you used to have a crush on back in the day and think to yourself: "Huh. They went bald..." and it ended up being a total non-event? That's how I picture that run in.
