Good morning!

I had a dream that BioWare posted Dorian's profile on the Dragon Age site, and I woke up and went to check  Don't go, nothing new there.

I wonder whether or not they will post more about Vivienne today? Or maybe they will reveal more companions? (I doubt it) Is it the last day of E3 today, or will it go on during the weekend? Because if it does, it's a plenty of time to reveal the rest of the companions. They will have to reveal something, right? Or maybe they will just all get drunk and celebrate, I don't know, looks like they've earned it

I can never bring myself to make my characters blood mages. Oh I am so sheltered. I can't even hardly choose "aggressive" options. Thank the maker for the sarcasm bits!

 

Being blood mages is very convenient though. You have second tank in your team which can heal and do magic stuff I love my blood mage Hawke

--Viv's Eyes: Idk if they've been changed permanently, or not. But I have known ppl that wear colored contacts as a matter of self decoration. They change them like they change their earrings. Although, I have to be honest, when I say the whole idea pushes sum buttons for me. That kinda thing has been an issue in the African American community at least. Wanting to bleach the skin. Or have blue eyes cuz...well....it just....speaks to a deeper wound. That's all I have to say abt that.

 

Sometimes dark-skinned people can have light-colored eyes... but I know what you mean. Two things: maybe they were going with the light eyes but then realized that wouldn't be a good idea, so they switched to brown (or is it black?). But then why did they not fix that before releasing the trailer? Seems a glaring mistake. Second: maybe her eyes change when she does magic. Her eyes are pale right before she takes her staff and does that little magicky thing with her hand. So... maybe?

 

Anyway, sociopolitical issues aside, I definitely think she looks better with the dark eyes.

Yeah, same. I'm going to read the article as perhaps intentionally humorous? Almost like a blog? Cause if taken seriously, it's pretty rude. But if taken more lightly, it's pretty funny, because we all totally agree LOL

 

There just seems no rhyme or reason to how they're releasing companion info. It's almost like they'll start something and then change midway through. Oh, let's do Follower Fridays! No, no, let's do something different. Let's announce two love interests! And then announce the return of set sexualities... but not say what sexuality Cass and Cullen are. Let's randomly reveal that Sera is a love interest on... a TV show! And say she's a lesbian! But still not say anything about Cass and Cullen! Because... reasons!

 

And don't ask us on Twitter or anywhere else because we'll either snark at you or just say "SOON."

Yes! That sums it up pretty perfectly. They keep saying they are doing this and then that and in the end it feels very scattered. The reveals have been lovely don't get me wrong but it's getting a little confusing.

Some people say the reveal about Sera was a mistake, that the team didn't know Heroes of Cosplay would air that part. That's disheartening if true. Perhaps they never intended to reveal who the rest of the love interests were and who they're into.

I think it wasn't a mistake. The way DG commented on this on tumblr looked like he knew they'll reveal this on the show, but didn't know when. And JM aslo tweeted they would talk about the romance before the show, I think.

I have an idea why Cullen is wearing the helmet in that scene. It's because how Morrigan is dressed. He had to put the helmet on, because he was staring at the wrong parts of her automatically, or trying not to stare there, and feeling terrible about staring, and blushing. Morrigan is a troll.

yeah, idk wat they're doing w/ companion/li reveals. at this point, i'm not sure they know either. awhile back i thought they were purposefully being coy. but now...i'm like

 

i mean i enjoy the writer's blurbs. very much. and the VA vids. very much. but i thirst for sum organization with it.

I think she's speculating about the "Meet the heroes" thing. BioWare didn't say how many heroes we will meet however. It may be 4, or may be 7.

I sure haven't heard any confirmation on that. Perhaps the writer is just refering to how it was said that we were supposed to "meet the heroes" this week?

It's a nice helmet but it's covering an even nicer face! So I'm not a huge fan xD

I love it. So...authoritative. But I do want to see his face. That beautiful face.

 

I adore it, it's very distinctive. No one else in the game will have anything like it. It's quite an epic piece of armor. And I want to see his face too, but I'm happy with the knowledge we will have the helm on/off option for cinematic's and I doubt he will be wearing it around the keep. I can wait a little bit longer to see him.... I think... I hope... If not, BioWare feel my wrath!

Very much in love with it. That brief shot of him the trailer was made far more dramatic because of it imo. It's very striking and unique and caught pretty much everyones attention, so much more iconic than your bog standard helm.

 

Plus it made him look a complete badass imo. That never hurts right?

I agree, it blended into his armor seamlessly and he did look like a bad ass. I think a lot of people were shocked when they found out it was him (non-cullenites that don't really follow his character)

I said the same a few pages ago, I love the way they used the same fur from the collar as the helms 'mane' and yep, I think there were quite a few that were suprised. I like that lol

Wearing a helm is more realistic, though, so there's that.
