I said the same a few pages ago, I love the way they used the same fur from the collar as the helms 'mane' and yep, I think there were quite a few that were suprised. I like that lol

Me too hehehe I hope there is a lot of "oh maybe he is cooler than I thought", I read some people had suggestion it was the Warden and that's why his face was covered. I was just like, pfft, IT'S CULLEN DAMN IT!

As a piece of armor it is really awesome and as long as Cullen doesn't wear it all the time everywhere I really am very happy with it! :D Though I'm wondering if he will actually wear it in the game that much. Might be they just put it on him for the trailer to hide him from us. Then again it works so well with the rest of his outfit that it has to be designed just for him. In that case it would make no sense for him to never actually wear it in the game.

Edit: Oh! My 400th post! :D Have a fancy Cullen for that!

I doubt he would be wearing it in any cinematic's where you will be talking to him. I think it is only something he would wear during battle, though there is a tiny part of me that would ****** myself laughing if he walked around the keep wearing it.......just a teeny tiny bit  :D

The title's a bit confrontational, but I can't pretend I disagree with the content.

Same, but even from a non LI point of view they seem oddly tight lipped about everything.

We STILL do not have confirmation on Scribbles or Coles names and we've barely been introduced to Solas. Also there's been barely any showing of Cullen.

agreeing with Artemis too they seem very... Finicky? On how they want to reveal companion and companion information and how much they want to reveal.

I still think it's really weird they introduced us to Blackwall before E3 and released an interview about him but we've seen nothing of him on the demos or showings

So I'm curious, what is everyone's stance on Cullen's helm? Do you love it, or hate it? Or are you just wondering why he is wearing it?

If it is Cullen (which I do think it is), I love it. <3

It's bloody gorgeous and fit with his armour very well (someone mentioned the fur on his armour looked like a mane).

Though I am curious as to why he's wearing it. Like, why a lion? Did he find out he's a Lannister or something?

If they give us everything now though, then they will have nothing new to give us for Pax Prime. Drip feeding information is marketing at it's best, I wouldn't expect any different from them

Cullen Lannister does have a nice ring to it haha. Some have suggestion that it is the symbol of the military, and although that is just speculation I could imagine that to be the case. But we also have no idea what he has been doing since Kirkwall, maybe he has a good reason to be hiding his identity out in the field....... What ever the reasoning, show casing it in the trailer was a good way to capture everyone's attention. I dare say that there a few people that are now intrigued by Cullen that held no interest in him before

I like that it matches his outfit, rather that it just being some random thing they stuck on his head for whatever reason. I hadn't noticed until yesterday but the fur on the back of the helmet matches and blends with the fur on his outfit, so I guess it was specifically made to match? I'd hope that he's not gonna run around with it covering his face whenever we get to go out with him in Thedas... now and again is cool if it's for story purposes (like he has to wear it to avoid detection or whatever), but I prefer to have all helmets off in my games so that I can see the characters expressions.

I do wonder what that helmet and his outfit in general is supposed to say about his personality? I know the devs said that the outfits they wear is supposed to tell subtle hints about them.

It's definitely Cullen, Cameron Lee confirmed it.

For me it's not the pace of information, it's that what they're giving us appears frustratingly random. It feels more like whatever Bioware is in the mood to give us today, than any sort of coherent marketing plan.

I'm still enjoying the anticipation, but for me it's mixed with a lot of confusion and uncertainty about what I'm even meant to be anticipating.

I can see why they've been tight lipped about the advisers. I mean, they aren't your typical companion and they're also the 3 pillars of the Inquisition (then of course there's Cullen who's also romanceable) so I would imagine that they'd want to cover the adviser thing at a later date. Still, some decent pictures of them and a blurb about their personalities wouldn't hurt!

I wonder how exactly sending advisors to quests will function. Prior hesterday's interview, I thought they'd be sent in certain quest related to their position. If we can choose who send in missions, then Scribbles has to have some combat abilities. It's more likely now that she's a mage.
Though if we can send even companions on those quests, in the demo one I think the best would be the blond guy with a passion for stabbing people ;).

It is frustrating but that is marketing, with this technique we're always guessing and speculating, they are firmly holding our attention.

Sorry but I just have to put this in here, my boyfriend is watching rally car driving on TV and every minute it's "Did you see that babe?" No I didn't, I don't like it and I DON'T CARE. Hence why I'm not watching it! GRAH! *deep breath*

My spell check says "advisers," although I think "advisors" looks nicer. ;)

I've followed quite a few games in development over the years, and I'm still super confused about what Bioware is going for here.

Not angry or anything, just confused. ;)

In complete and utter non-seriousness: He's a beast in the sack?

I checked online, and I found they can be used both.

I couldn't even begin to imagine how a quest for Scribbles would go? She's political, right? So maybe we have to accompany her to some boring thing that goes ****** up and then we have to fight/sneak/whatever our way out? Leliana is a rogue and Cullen a warrior, so it's entirely possible that Scribbles is a mage.

I'm now wondering if maybe that quest we saw with Leliana might be interchangeable depending on who's approach we picked for taking it? I mean, the plot itself seemed more central to Dorian since we were dealing with his old teacher (or whatever you wanna call him), so I'm not entirely sure why Leliana would be there? It kinda seemed like she was there to help, so maybe if we had picked Scribbles approach instead and she went ahead and tried to negotiate with the enemy instead then she would have been there, or if we'd taken a militant approach them it would have been Cullen there instead?

No I understand where you're coming from, I find it all rather frustrating. Why release that he is an LI when you haven't even given him a clear shot of him yet? I JUST WANT TO KNOW! The wait is going to be hard  ^_^

... I like that idea! Consider that head canoned!

I guess maybe it could symbolise bravery? Or that he puts on this big brave exterior but inside he's really as soft as... mashed potato? Or he just really likes lions?

I think so. I'm not sure if it would specifically be Cullen and Scribbles, but it's addressed in this article that you would have had the option to use a different character:

http://www.gamesrada..._campaign=Owned

And the outcome would have been different. I think that Leliana was there because the Inquisitor picked a stupid plan, not because that quest involves Leli specifically.

Possibly the quest changes a bit depending who you send.
Though I don't think the quest is Dorian-related. Darrah said it happens after a series of branching events in the mage-templar war. It seems it'll be a critical path mentioned by Darrah, about this plot.
I think companions, since they're related to certain plots, will give a better hindsight if brought along in those quests. I wonder though if not bringing Dorian will cause problems though.
