Yeah my Hawke had it pretty rough my first ever play through. Bethany dies by Ogre, Carver died in Deep Roads, we all know how Leandra dies, Fenris didn't return after to her in act 3 and she was kicked out of the city after the whole Meredtih/Orsino fiasco 

 

 

It was sheer luck that Bethany survived in my first ever playthrough because I'd taken Anders with me since that's who she was going to romance. I didn't wanna miss any potential interaction with him so I took him everywhere.

 

It was pure luck Carver lived through my game too, for the same reasons. Took Ander's everywhere because he was the romance of choice. 

 

...And then I decided that, seeing my Warden's life turned out pretty perfect, I would make my Hawke's as crap as possible. So plenty of wrong decisions, Merrill's mirror is intact, her Dalish clan is le dead... though, personally, I wasn't about to blame her for the Keeper's own decision, anyway...

 

So yeeeeah, my Inquisitor is just gonna be so "who is this Hawke guy and when can I strangle him?" 

 

It's okay, though, 'cause they'd totally fall for the ol' Hawke charms if they ever met, so my boy doesn't have to worry about dying. Hopefully. *sideeyes Bioware*

Yeah, I've been gathering up info. I haven't started it yet because I'm waiting to see what else comes out and whether or not the devs will clarify things like that article from earlier, etc. I'm hoping they'll post up the full demo too, but tbh I suspect that's unlikely.

Well they they never did from last years Pax did they? The only ones I have seen were recordings that someone had made in the audience. I really hope they do release it though. Not everyone has the option to be able to attend E3, it doesn't make us any less deserving of seeing the footage that they show there. I'm just a little bit bitter about it all............... 

 

And yay, can't wait to see it once it's done

Have they been showing two different demos or something? I saw the dwarven one where they fought the Dragon, but people were also talking about the one with Dorian where he mentions keeping the red lyrium shards etc.

You know, now that I'm 33 I literally still have some clothes that I wore when I was 20 and 21.  NIcer ones that are still in decent shape, but also some t-shirts that apparently weren't completely crap quality!

I'm actually kind of jealous of that. It would be nice if my clothes lasted that long, but I am a clumsy person and they tend to get ruined rather easily (I never wear white out to dinner, it's a disaster)............. But, I do still have my school ball dress from 10 years ago sitting in the back of my wardrobe

I think I only did one playthrough where Merrill smashed it. I mean, I just can't rival the girl. It's more like, "oh gosh, Merrill, I really wish you wouldn't lolligag with demons. Sheesh!" Not "AIGHT DAS IT MERRILL I'M TIRED OF UR CRAP!"

So I'm curious, what is everyone's stance on Cullen's helm? Do you love it, or hate it? Or are you just wondering why he is wearing it?

I love Cullen's helmet. Becasue he looks awfully badass in it, like Alexander the Great, who loved lion helmets too   :

 

If Cullen is as good a general a that man, then we will rock! Seriously, I didn't know Cullen had so much badassery in him. He's full of surprises!

I also really love grotesque helmets

That's really interesting! So it sounds like in some cases we can maybe send the advisors to scout ahead and deal with the problem. I wonder what would happen if we sent Cullen in to deal with that ball Empress Celene is holding? I imagine it would go pretty badly, LOL!

I wouldn't have sent Cullen to go undercover, he's obviously not a mage, he's too direct and templary, and they would probably just kill him on sight. And if captured and tortured... I don't even want to think about it, Kinloch Hold was more than enough. And if you are a mage and want to romance him, that would be a BIG issue if he started to hate all mages with passion again! Maybe Scribbles would be better, if she's a mage. Or even Vivienne. Or Cole. Yeah, Cole would be awesome, I think, he's a perfect spy.

DAI's gameplay trailer in E3 gave me different perspective to him, I had impression that he was more confident, smug and flirty but he seemed quite nervous and careful there. I'm eager to learn more of him and what kind of character he's. I also want see his face without derpy expression! XD

 

Information of LI's and their sexualities + other possible restrictions is quite high in my wanted book as well. I want to know if Skye can romance Cullen and if Tamarin can romance Dorian.

Yeah, I was expecting him to be a bit of a smart arse, very confident etc... mind you, that was a pretty dire situation they were in so I guess it wasn't really the time for anything other than serious business, lol.

Yes! I conquer! Not that I find Cullen's particularly grotesque, but I have also always held a fondness for such things. And Masquerade masks like these.....
