I don't know if it's the mushroom soup again, or I'm just losing my mind from hopeless anticipation, but I just had another DAI dream, and this time about Cullen ->

In this dream someone interviewed a Russian Cullen's VA, asked him everything, and posted the thing online. EA found it, and shut it down, but it was already on mirrors. Nobody could understand what the guy was saying, just commented that he was cute (he really was, and kind of even looked like Cullen, but he didn't have GE's softness, so I thought the voice was totally wrong), so of course I went there to check it out. That guy told everything about Cullen's past, his sexual preferences, romance, the most difficult to voice part of the story. And then I woke up and though, "Wait a sec, DAI is not getting Russian voice over, it goes with subtitles! (and that's why it's cheaper!)"

Agreed. And even then it may not be 100% correct when it is finally released. I have the Mass Effect 3 strategy guide and it says that Kaidan can only be romanced by female Shepards.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 660, it'll probably be fine but I wanna make sure I can run it on the highest quality settings possible.

Oh, yeah, dunno. So far seems the same. Particularly since Mark Darrah seemed to be reading a script during dwarf one. Seems like they're trying to standardize their message.

Probably not. The dwarf did the same running around as the Qunari. You just got to see a little of the armor equipment and how it changed to still fit IB look. Not much different area wise. I wish they would put it up online so we could all see it.

Your RAM upgrade will more than cover you and you should be pretty good with a 660, you could possibly run the game on high, definately medium though I would think. I'm not anywhere near an expert on this stuff though, sorry.

I think the only things I still own from ten years ago would be my awesome collection of gaming T-Shirts. I stole them from a boyfriend who used to work at GameStop. And I wear those darn things practically every day. Clearly adulting correctly.

I asked Gamestop over Twitter and e-mail when the Inquisition version was announced and no sign of it for PC. They told me that they wouldn't be stocking it. A Bioware Dev said they were 'looking into it' but that was a few weeks ago now. According to one person on the thread for it, Gamestop have e-mailed them to say they're just waiting on a release date or something from EA. so there's a possibility that it will materialise, but who knows lol

I think a whole 'nother celebration so soon feels like overkill. Maybe just let it roll, post up some pics and wait for the next one for any real planning, like I think Hannah suggested.

I agree. The tread paces very fast, it's kind of unpredictable right now, and I don't think that I personally will have time to create something of quality. So I'll be ok with gif and photomanips spam

 

Well, I've ordered an additional 8gb of RAM for it so that'll be about 14gb in total. My internal hard drive has 3TB and my external one has 4TB so I can use the external one if I need to. So I'm all good on that front. It's really my graphics card that could do with an upgrade but I doubt I'll have the money to do that.

Wow, that's a lot of RAM! I only have 4 gb. I'm not sure my motherboard can have more? I'd like 4 more at least. I think I'll disassemble my PC after we move to the new place, and see what I can do. I hope I won't have to replace MB, I think some of my graphic apps product codes are tied to it, and I don't want to buy them again.

As fast as we move, sometimes, and as we get closer to October, with more information, I think we'll continue moving this quickly (If not moreso *grin*), maybe do something major for 5k?

I just put in the GTX 770, which is probably overkill, but I wanted to be sure I was ready.

Out of curiousity I had a quick flick through that thread, i'd say the general consensus I get is that iff you have a GTX660 your good to go and have nothing to worry about

Oh I know, but it was a leetle out of my price range!  I was upgrading from the 550ti.

"You must also send operatives from your party of playable characters to embark on missions on your behalf--and these won't always go down as planned. In my demo, a party member is sent to go undercover and infiltrate a Mage stronghold. Unfortunately, by the time the player's party arrives to mop up, said party member has been captured and is being tortured. We recover her, but she (understandably) has developed a hatred for Mages--so, during a crucial interaction with the stronghold's Mage leader, she has little patience for words, and goes on a murderous rampage of revenge. That's really interesting! So it sounds like in some cases we can maybe send the advisors to scout ahead and deal with the problem. I wonder what would happen if we sent Cullen in to deal with that ball Empress Celene is holding? I imagine it would go
