Idk where you are getting that Sera info.I was thinking the same. Most likely Varric, Sera and the Iron Bull. Varric says in DA2 that he is not into humans, Sera was said to be into everything elven/ immersed in her elven heritage and IB wants people who can handle his size.

Well, I will definitely have Inquisitors who help Varric reunite with Bianca, if that is indeed an option, I don't feel a storyline about letting go and moving on 'cheapens' his past with Bianca. I've known people who couldn't let go, and the depression they fell into underneath the smiles and shrugs was not poetic or romantic. 
I'm taking a big risk playing as a mage (possibly an Elf) in DAI when it comes to Cullen, LOL!
I know, it makes me nervous too! But still...the forbidden love drama is too good to resist. ...I probably will have to buy the guide and just look at the romance section because that is the only thing I spoil myself for!

Then we are in the same boat. I created a twitter account years ago to follow someone and somehow I never used it. Frankly, I don't see why it is such a great invention (and there is a :confused: emoticon missing for this forum). Well, not using it isn't helping, so I figured that I should do more social media. Although I haven't got the faintest idea what to twitter about.

So I'm curious, what is everyone's stance on Cullen's helm? Do you love it, or hate it? Or are you just wondering why he is wearing it?

It's ridiculous and impractical and just... so fantasy armor-ish. Doesn't seem very Cullen-y at all, either. I'm assuming they did it because his face isn't ready to be fully revealed, but still, why pick such a ridiculous looking helm? And I thought inquisitor's was over the top!

I don't think they ever broke up tbh. For whatever reason she couldn't escape, so I doubt they had the chance to end things even if they'd wanted to. Either way, one of the devs (I forget which... possibly Varric's writer) said that we may get to find out what happened from Bianca herself so if the options there I'm gonna get them back together.

I like the helmet but I have to agree with you about it being an odd choice for Cullen. Most likely the lion symbol will be explained in the game but at this point it's somewhat odd.

It does seem a lot fancier than I would have ever imagined him wearing. Figured he'd be more of a practical non-fancy things type of guy... of course, that's all just head canon so who knows! Maybe he was like "right, I'm finally out of the Order let's go wild and buy something ridiculous!"

Interesting news from Gaider I see. As time goes on I am liking the idea of certain characters only being interested in certain races/genders more and more. It will force me to play different characters and it will help with the ninjamancing that always occurs c__c

I like the helmet, mainly for symbolic reasons. The majority of my PTs have my Wardens and Hawkes wearing or wielding something that has a deeper meaning.
The lion typically symbolizes strength, anger, assertiveness, personal power, and a personal struggle - like mastering your emotions.
I hope Cullen is open for some Qunari mage loving, because that's going to be my first playthrough. If not, maybe Iron Bull will be an option.

Yeah, I definitely want to know what happened from Bianca-- I've seen people brush her aside when talking about the issue, as though the only opinion on the relationship that matters is Varric's. It definitely depends on what happened, how they feel, and the details whether or not my Inquisitor will be for the two or 'this is sounding pretty awk and unhealthy, I'm outsie.'
To be honest, though, while I do adore Varric and will have at least one Inquisitor for him if he's an option because I want to try out all the things, he definitely won't be my 'go to' romance. I've had enough of romances with past loves involved, especially when it's the source of the friction in the romance plot.
Agreed.I could see Varric being a bi dwarf.
