No, it's ok now. I said that youtube just glitched. I have sharp Cullens now :)

tumblr_n72du8jFaX1szm52vo2_r1_1280.jpg

He kind of looks like Alistair when he does it (stabs me right in the heart! My final warden dumped Ali after all the heir to the throne thing was revealed).

I can feel it, Cullen will demand me to chop off somebody's head in the end, I just know it! (stares at Cole)

Cullen rubbing his neck, which he seems to do when uncomfortable or embarrassed, just as he appears to be looking at ... a copy of Hard in Hightown, ever so innocently positioned on the table.

I'm predicting very interesting dialogue between Cassandra, Cullen, and Varric.  :D

Which trailer was this screenshot from?

That's interesting about vivienne....but I am intrigued about how they say "what's her real agenda?" about her....maybe it's an "evil" party....as we know, we are trying to find out who is trying to kill us after all...

Yeah somehow I just don't see Cullen as a master spy! :D But I'm sure he would be capable of doing some small talk and eating fancy orlesian appetizers! Do you think he would be a good dancer?

Yes, I do think he would be a good dancer. His movement abilities are honed from combat, and my guess is some of his duties in Kirkwall would require him to attend official functions where dancing would be necessary, so I'd imagine he knows how.

there's no way i'm sending cullen in to deal with a bunch of crazy mages that may torture him. now that i know what could happen? i can't see putting him in that potential situation.

although, as has been said, it might be the most logical choice w/him being a templar. but he's just one man. would he go with a small army? i just don;t know.

I think that picking different characters to go would also mean picking different plans. I mean, sending Cullen to sneak in and do espionage wouldn't make sense. So my guess is if you chose Cullen, he'd have his own ideas for how to proceed, probably involving the use of military force. As a result, I think his being captured would be much less likely.

I am still wondering how sending them (Cullen, Leliana) truly effects how they feel about you as you play. If i say send Cullen on multiple missions like this because he seems the better option....will this effect my being able to romance him. I don't want him to hate me because he gets a little bit tortured (okay maybe a lot)

On the other hand, if you never use him for missions, he might feel like you don't trust him with anything. I think the Inquisitor will need to be a bit sensible and not over-rely or under-rely on people.

This game... JUST TELL US ALREADY!!!!!!!!! Let me take in the depression and disappointment early so I can have a few months to get over it, accept that I'll have no one to romance, and just play the game to enjoy it as best I can.

I feel the same way. I could accept almost any answer more easily than just having to wait and see.

Hey hey, found something!

So, of course, your story will evolve as your relationships with your followers do. But, Darrah said, your followers will have their own evolving relationships amongst each other that will also change as the story does.

[RAISES EYEBROWS] I like this, the possibility of inter-companion romances springing up, but I know some of you guys don't.

(I wonder who Cullen would get with? Oh, gosh! If Scribbles is a mage I will totally ship her with Cullen! They would be adorable together.)

So, basically, what you're saying is, "I'm all in favor of restrictions as long as they don't restrict *me*."? *grin*

I'm generally not in favor of restrictions. I want the player to have as much choice as is practical. I like being able to be creative with my character.

The idea of having to limit what I want to play based on what an NPC wants really rankles me, in fact, just on principle, because I feel like the player having fun should be the primary part of the gaming equation.

For me, it doesn't add at all to replayability to have restrictions. If I would enjoy replaying the game, I will, and if not I'm not going to be pushed into it by gated content.

That said, I think it's only human to be more concerned about restrictions that affect us than ones that don't.

I'm with you Phate on the inter-companion romances.  I absolutely loved them.  It seemed really natural that people would hook up and be attracted to each other.

My favourite was Izzy and Fenris.  I love the banter and I actually got a bug where Fenris would flirt with Izzy after breaking up with you.  I LOVED it, I could just imagine my Hawke standing there so pissed off.  Still. it seemed natural that people move on in their lives and my Hawke was not the centre of the universe, maybe (I know it's unheard of in an RPG) Fenris actually liked Isabella MORE than my Hawke and they had an easier relationship.  This bug was one of the high points of my game.   :)

There's an update about Vivienne on the website, apparently she throws the Inquisition a party, which (in theory) would include Cullen since he's one of the pillars.

You mean there will be more parties?!

I could see Cullen and Cassandra together.

Cassandra and Cullen would be pretty cool, too. I imagine it'd start because Cassandra whomped him in a spar, and as he's just sitting there, on his ass, staring up at her, eyes all wide and breath short for reasons unrelated to the previous fight, and she just frowns down at him.

CASSANDRA: What? That was a fair block--

CULLEN: No, no, it's not that. I--uh--[OPENS MOUTH] [SHUTS IT]

CASSANDRA: Out with it!

CULLEN: [SHAKES HIS HEAD] Nothing. Good fight. [PUSHES HIMSELF TO HIS FEET] [CLEARS THROAT] Would you... Are you available to... uh, do this again?

CASSANDRA: [FROWNS] Yes, whenever the Inquisitor does not need me.

CULLEN: Great! Uh. [STANDS TALLER] Then I shall be at the ready. Seeker. [SHUFFLES AWAY]

CASSANDRA: [NONPLUSSED] Did I offend him?

VARRIC: [AMUSED] You did something to him, alright, but it wasn't offensive.

CASSANDRA: [BROW FURROWS]

VARRIC: Nah nah [HOLDS UP HANDS] Don't concern yourself with it, Seeker. Just be on your way. It's easier, trust me.

I meant the person he was flirting with....or both! Whatever floats that particular Quizzy's boat :P If Cullen ends up romancing someone else if you don't, I have a feeling all my female playthroughs will romance him....kinda like Alistair...GODDAMMIT ALISTAIR EVERY TIME.

These are fair points, all. :) I understand people's concerns about restriction, even if I feel differently.

(I was mostly just picking on Artemis, anyway.)

I'm a bad person.

As awesome as that is, it would upset me a LOT. I'm quite protective over my PC's potential LI's. I didn't like Garrus x Tali (so FemShep and Garrus is ALWAYS a thing) and Fenris x Isabela made me sad. I don't want to feel like I'm taking my characters LI -AWaY- from their happy ending :(

In my playthroughs, this would leave 2/4 inquisitors heartbroken.
