When is that???? I will admit I am not just interested in what Cullen is. At some point I will play another character once I get to know the followers more in game and I wanna know what they all are!!!!

I'm not sure there is one, but speaking for myself I'm not feeling a lot of optimism about the romances at the moment. It's just starting to sound very gated and prescribed.

Some here were happy about it because they felt it would encourage them to make multiple inquisitors. Others were disappointed and scared because that's even more chance of their preferred romance rejecting them, and it also further narrows the pool of available LI per inquisitor.
Well, unless Cullen and Cassandra are both bisexual, surely revealing the gay and bi romances would give a bit of the game away!

Honestly, I'm not convinced they will implement them. I still think it might be misdirection, purely because I think it would be difficult to properly implement fairly and balanced.
Tbh I'm not sure how interested they are in fairness anymore. A lot of what was said previously has been overturned, such as not having an increased budget for romance... yet suddenly we have at least six romances, probably more.

Hmm we could make that assumption, true. But it wouldn't be true until it's confirmed. For all we know, Cass and Cullen would be later revealed to be also bi, and Solas and Scribbles are the straight options.
Also, when you think about it, it's going to be kind of hard to have a single announcement for a straight character. It makes sense to proudly announce Character X as bi or gay, but as straight? I don't know... just seems odd lol

Yeah, I think one of Cass and Cullen is either straight or otherwise gated for this reason. And while I don't think a non-announcement in the GE video will mean he's straight, I do think there's no way they'll announce it in the video unless he's bi.

I think it's going to be implemented, but not to the extent that a lot of us were originally thinking. Like Eluvianix was saying way earlier, it's probably only going to be a few LI that have restrictions. My thoughts are that it'll be the bisexual LI, and they'll have complimentary preferences.
So, like, Cullen likes elves and humans, and the Iron Bull likes qunari and dwarves.
However, I could easily see the human Inquisitors getting a few extra LI. Like, of the female characters, there are three left and they are all human. Thus, I could something like this happening:
Cassandra likes humans and dwarves, and Scribbles likes elves, qunari, and humans.
Leading to an inequality in LI choices.
Well I see where you're coming from because I want everyone to have as many options as possible, including myself, but why would they not be proud to announce such and such as straight? I'm all for equality but on the same token I don't find it 'odd' to be straight?
I think it would be about the fact that announcing someone as anything other than bi is saying to some fans who'd been hoping to romance them, "Nope! Not for you." So you're still proud of the character and everything if they're straight, but there's a sad part too because not everybody wins, so you just can't be as enthusiastic about it without worrying that you're rubbing it in for someone. Announcing them as gay also has that problem, but with the mitigating fact that the character in question is only for a group of people who don't usually get content only for them in mass-market video games. (The latter is also true of straight women, of course, but...)

Because of the way I construct my playthroughs (I use restrictions, future choices, and companions to help build the personality of my player character) I find the race restrictions rather inspiring. I know it's not how everyone feels, though, and I feel bad for them.
Yes. There is no guarantee that a particular gender/race combination will have as many romantic prospects as another.
And that's fine. Romance options are not candy to be dispensed fairly and evenly, and if there's a particular character that you've decided before the game is released that you must romance, it's advisable you play a different PC. The most we can do (and have done) is ensure that there's no overall slanting towards a particular group-- it's all over the map, for various reasons.
