Yep. And if you know a little Japanese it's pretty funny, because the Japanese dialogue is very modern and casual, but the subtitles are still for the faux old English. So you get something like...
Valmiro: *in Japanese* Yo!
Subtitles: "Hello, goodfisher!"
Me: ...That's so not what he said.
But for the most part, even if you don't understand Japanese (I don't; I only can detect a few words here and there), the subtitles are fine. Trust me, in Japanese, Reynard, Maximilian, Valmiro, and Julien sounds SUUUPER sexy. I've romanced the first three, now I'm going for Julien.
