Ugh, why does everyone sound so good. I'm going to have a really hard time picking who I want in my party. It was easy in Origins and DA2, not so much with this current cast. lol

I was like that on Origins but I always switched it up for DA2 as I love everyone in that game. For DAI it will probably depend on my quizzy who I take.

So, if Saturday will be Varric's day, Sunday - Leliana's day, then (if introductions don't stop), Monday will be for Dorian. Thursday for Solas, Wednesday for Cole, Thursday for Scribbles, Friday for Cullen?

Unless they switch to the locations again?

 

I wish I hadn't been following GE on twitter. I would have been absolutely calm and not even a bit excited now. I don't know how am I going to survive till October.

Aha! Found it! The story Varric wrote about the Templar Knight Captain and the guardsman:

Do they ever say it's the guard captain, though? Sounds like just some guardsman. (As long as it's not some dead-in-the-final-battle guardsman who will give Cullen a case of Carth Syndrome...) Given how Varric's apparently-most-famous book actually happened, I'd be disappointed in him if it turned out all his books are just fictionalizations of stuff he hears around town, though.

Mmmmm, from a writer's perspective, I think what Varric is saying is that the characters make their own story, no matter the author. All the plotting in the world can be jack-all if a character decides that they are going to do the thing, even when you, as the author, are shrieking that that is not what you are supposed to do get back here and follow my carefully thought-out notes! The character leads you through the story, and, well, uncovers it as they go.

I'd definitely prefer it to be Aveline with an unrequited crush. Then she's safely married and out of the way with Cullen none the wiser. No more "unlucky in love" sob stories, or so I hope. I want my Inquisitor to blaze a trail, not try to cover up some man/woman who went before

That's what I'm hoping! He happens to pick it up and give it a flick through during a quiet moment and is like "WOAH!" Then at some point we'd hear him try to "subtly" ask Varric about it, lol!

There's already Amell to contend with in my playthrough since she's my canon Warden and Cullen had his crush on her, I don't need a guardsman to contend with too, LOL! My Inquisitor wants to be the special woman to tame the lion, bwahahahaha!
