[BLINKS RAPIDLY] I must know more about the skill trees.

Huh, that's weird. I'm assuming the far left is the Fire? Unless that's an entropy tree, that's a very weird choice.

Edit
Hmm, judging by that last line, they may have gotten rid of the creation tree. Curiouser and curiouser...

I am, special talent trees were an awesome feature.
Random side note. Does anyone else want more nature spells in the game, like the keeper specialization in DA:A , that have to do with controlling vines, roots, thorns etc.

Didn't they once say that Dalish and qunari mages will have different type of magic or something? I'm more interested in that really

For me, the main thing was Sera's Lancashire accent. Pretty random.

So, with IB being a reaver, is anyone else disappointed that it doesn't look like companions will have their own unique talent trees as in DA2?

I dunno, I kinda like that we're all trained similarly. But, at the same time, the special talent trees were sometimes more fun than the ones PCs got so...

As for Primal, I saw the icon on the pic, and I hope we get that lightning spell back, it was cool (I also loved the Force Mage spec, but it seems that's truly gone :().

Do you think Cullen will be taking lyrium during the events of Inquisition?

I wonder what sort of withdrawal, if any, he will be experiencing. :(

Yeah, that's one thing we've tossed around a LOT.

Some of us believe that he may have been weaning himself off of lyrium for a long time now, which might help explain his health in DA2. Others believe he is still full Templar (just working with us) and will have lyrium just like normal. Others believe that we'll save him from the depths of lyrium withdraw, where he will be overtaken by demons and beasts and need our loving embrace to feel warm again. Etc etc.

From what we've seen of lyrium withdrawal, I think Cullen has to still be taking it. I'd guess we'll address that during DAI, as without the Chantry getting lyrium must be difficult, or expensive, or both. (And could possibly be part of the reason why Cullen agrees to join us.) It could be possible that we find a magical cure for lyrium addiction, I rather doubt it. Which sucks so bad for Cullen, because he's had a tough time of it as it is. He doesn't need to lose his mind from withdrawal, or just from the eventual toll lyrium takes on the body.

I'm more concerned with the nature itself of lyrium addiction.  Seriously.  It seems to me, that unlike most drug addictions, where the withdrawal persists is very painful but eventually subsides, it seems like lyrium addiction's withdrawal has lasting effects and possible harm over an extended period of time.  At the other end of the spectrum, what if too much lyrium over time is what produces the negative impacts that we've seen in-game.

I'm just not sure and I'm hoping Inquisition at least touches on the question to some level so that we can finally figure it out.

Anyway, it certainly gets my hopes up!

Oooh. That's good, I always found the Ice and Fire spells to be the most useful in battle. Freeze 'em, then Melt 'em....or shatter them.

There's happiness in Thedas sometimes! Like, when everything is Cullen, and nothing hurts.  :)

uh, well, huh. no strategy guide for me. i'm just gonna tough it out...and hope for the best--ish.

morrigan: i'm sure those are her running around clothes. although, i really hope there's a quick line abt differences that have been made to the outfit cuz... you know...and while i'm happy to hear that Allan has managed to maintain his "girlish" figure after all these years...but morrigan has pushed out an ogb (or a regular baby--even then tho). those tetas and hip bones are not gonna be the same. for a very few maybe, but vast majority of women--noooo. lmfao! c'mon. they wanted morrigan to be visibly recognizable. /end

that scene they showed it's gonna be tough. i loved that review by whoever it was that saw the full demo. i still don;t think that was sera's death scene cuz how lame would that be to show us in sum pre launch demo thing? in general it will be tough, and i'm sure that won't be the only time it'll be tough, but if that's the way it's gonna be---

Right? Morrigan was, what, in her mid-20s-ish in DAO? So that was 10 years ago. She's in her mid-30s. I haven't even had kids, and damn, I WISH I looked like my 25 year old self. That beotch was hot!

Every single time I see this pic, I think of two things.

"This Cullen satisfies the demands of the Qun."

and

"This Cullen will bring honour to my clan."

Maker, I pray Cullen is into guys (hopefully Qunari guys ^.^)

Lol, there must be a way we can get her attention without looking too creepy  :D

I don't know, it seems like she's awfully busy with her job, and this thread would take ten years to catch up. Besides, if I knew things, I would not go to a place where people may ask me about things I know, because chances are I may accidentally let something slip.
(And btw, this is why I respect Lola so much )
Still, we could send her a polite invitation here or to our group. Or maybe she's already here, one of us, incognito :)

Yeah Lola does a great job of keeping what she knows to herself. It's quite a big and privileged responsibility to have and she is doing BioWare proud  :D

Oh I loved the drawing you did of MD's interview! Your little cartoons are so awesome.
