She wouldn't fight with anyone over Cullen. Her self-esteem is a work in progress. (Developing her self-confidence is something I see being a major theme for her story overall as she deals with being the Inquisitor.) If someone else was pursuing Cullen, she'd pretty much just slink away and try to hide her crush till she got over it.
I definitely think she could be great buddies with my second inquisitor. He'd think she's cute. And he'd tell her to buck up and have more confidence in herself, and they trade spells and practice their magic together; he'd do little naughty things like freeze the hairs on Blackwall's beard or suddenly make Cullen's boots really really hot, and he'd do this during super important meetings, and she'd tell him that's not very nice and that he shouldn't do that, and he'd just laugh.

So, I literally just spent two hours typing up a huge response to someone in MD's comment section on her Cameron Lee interview just to answer why "girls" love Cullen so much (AGAIN!)
The guy was kinda rude with the whole "girls only like him because... but I find that stupid because.... he's a minor character and I hate Templars blah blah blah". I literally only responded because he said "I'm kinda scared that AbilityDrain will come in here and hand my arse to me, I know she's a huge Cullen fan!"

Dorian has a wonderful design and he looked pretty interesting in the demo sequence. But you're right, we want to know more.And agree about all the companions; they all sound interesting; jury's still out on Dorian for me but I bet his bio will make him interesting.

I think they're just saying it's confirmed because of the 'will jump into bed with anyone he's relatively sure he won't break' line, but that doesn't mean he's romanceable by both genders or even romanceable at all.

But a little part of me is really hoping that he's available, even if it's only for the larger races. I get a little melty when I think about the uncomfortable foot-shuffling and the deep, rumbly "Look, I'm not really good at this part, but you're all right. You know what I mean. Don't make me say it." Kinda like Isabela, but... larger.

I am interested in romances with almost all the characters, some more than others, but in general I find all the male characters interesting for possible romances. I am even going to create an Inquisitor to romance Sera because even though I am straight in real life, I just think Sera's character seems awesome and I want to see the romance side of her.
I ordered the Dragon Age Inquisition strategy guide that is now available for preorder on Amazon. I plan on utilizing that to figure my way through some of the story choices/romance interests, etc. I like planning things out so that I am not TOO disappointed when I mess up, haha.
However, since the strategy guide doesn't release until the day Inquisition does, and the guide will be sent to my home in the US, and I will be in Japan, I'll probably have to start my digital deluxe edition DAI game before I have the chance to read the guide, because I can't wait the week or so it will take for my parents to ship it to me! So I will probably make tons of mistakes. Interestingly, the hardback version of the guide, which I bought, includes some bonus digital content with it for the game. I think it might be something like another mount for the game or whatever, nothing huge just a present for those who buy the hardcover.

Based on what we know of him so far this seems likely! If he is an LI that is. The Iron Bull is pretty much the only other character besides Cullen that I want to romance. I will however most likely play through all the romances no matter what as I like to get the "full experience" and not miss anything the game has to offer.

Yeah, there is so much stuff packed into Bioware games, especially this one. DAI looks to be huge and with a main campaign of 50 hours, not including side content/quests, I think it will take me quite awhile to complete it all. Goodbye to my whole month of October.
And now that The Sims 4 releases at the start of September, my whole fall is looking like it will disappear. So as soon as I get back to Japan for work I am basically busy gaming/working until Christmas, haha.

I'll test all the romances out, but Cullen will be the romance I take in my first playthrough... he will also likely be my canon romance for my ultimate playthrough to be imported, unless for some reason it's awful or (Maker forbid) I take a huge liking to one of the other LI's in the way that I did with Alistair. Ideally, I want Cullen to be the one that I take an instant liking to, but I can't be sure until I play.
