[Owlfruit Potion]

I actually prefer the idea of him looking older than he is and not super pretty; I think it makes story sense. (Although the Cullen fan devs' reactions have me thinking the early art might have looked like that one really unattractive early concept of Carth Onasi and not the Rugged, Weatherbeaten Older Cullen I'm imagining.) But I'm satisfied with the worry lines and scar we have in Lola's picture; he definitely looks at least as old as Kaidan in ME1, who was believable when he said he was 32. And if his appearance in the later trailers reflects real tweaks since then and not just sharpening artifacts, even better.

The novel made me like them more I can't wait to play a shem-hater who falls in love with a shem... again My favorite storyline!

From the way he said the Cullen fans working in the office raged, his concept art definitely wasn't attractive. Sounds like we dodged a bullet with that one!

LOL - my Dalish certainly won't be very Dalish. I wasn't impressed with them in DA:O. City elf, on the other hand, was awesome.

Keep in mind that they're still tweaking the characters appearance, including Cullen's. They'll all improve in leaps and bounds by the time the game ships. Hell, look at how much they've improved Varric from his cosplay outfit kit pictures to his current trailer version.

That's where I think I'm heading with my first run, if Cullen is race-gated for against qunari. A Dalish mage who views herself as a sort of Keeper for the Inquisition, who sees shemlen as the real problems in the world. Of course she falls for Cullen.  It's all very hazy, because I don't know enough about how the character actually can progress internally throughout the game. It'll be very interesting to see.

I think my current plan for a Dalish elf is one who's determined to drag her clan into the modern era. She'll have spent some time interacting with humans too, but I imagine she'd be unpopular as a result. Hopefully, this'll create an interesting dynamic with Cullen (in my head anyway!) and means she debunks some notions he might have about the dalish.

I am starting to really, really hope Cullen won't mind a dwarven romance. I think I might have a niggling idea for a girl that'll work well with him. 

I would think religion is important to Cullen, so he may prefer someone who shares his religious views - may be a bigger issue than race.

I'll agree though, looking at his picture straight from the framed war room shot he looks older but I promise you it's the light and shadows playing on his face... like if you put a torch under your face it makes it look like you've got epic bags under your eyes, LOL!

 

 

 

Also, bare in mind that the picture I took really doesn't do him any justice at all. He's a lot prettier than that if you could see the picture face on.
