I think we need a list of the names, and an address where to send cookies!  :wizard: (shortbread!)

I like older men (I fell in love with Sten the moment I saw him!), but Cullen can't be that old. So I support making him hotter! :)

I wonder why the artist wanted to age him so much: based on just DAO and DAII stress, or there is something else we don't know about yet?

It is puzzling. Ostensibly, he could be 31 during the final battle in  DA2. So, he shouldn't be that much older in DA:I.

I'm with you; I was actually hoping for late 30s, early 40s to be honest, so I'm kind of disappointed he could still be in his 20s, bleh. That Last Supper shot Lola took is really not very hot to me; doesn't mean I don't still love the character and want him with every fiber of my being, but I'm definitely not "into" him. Ah well. War Room Concept Art Cullen, you'll always be in my heart

Also, you know making him look like he could be twenties to early thirties doesn't mean they're expecting him to still be in twenties in 9:40. I mean... it's really hard to reconcile a teenage Cullen in DA:O. I mean, just... no. So seeing the maybe final product... I'm still comfortable with the age 34-ish and everything is consistent. ^_^

I wonder if Greg Ellis can instantly remember Cullen's character and jump straight into the role the minute he gets into the studio and reads the description and brief rundown that comes with the script, or if he's just kinda winged it so far since Cullen was relatively minor.

Hey I don't know if this is useful to anyone. It hasn't got any new info, but it's Felicia Day and her brother talking for a little about Dragon Age Inquisition at E3.

It starts around the 4:11 mark

Yeah, true. 34 is a decent age; hey, that's one year older than me, at least for the next couple months

Isn't Felicia Day in her mid-30's? She looks super young, so I guess it's easy enough to just pretend that Cullen's older and is just ageing really well.

Greg does a fair bit of vo, and the DAII recordings were so long ago, I'm certain that they played him a voice reference to get back in the swing of it. That said, he's had a couple of good sessions in a relatively short time period so he's probably figured out the character pretty well now, particularly if he has anything very amusing or memorable to say. Sometimes actors even have a particular phrase that they say to get into character. I wonder what Cullen's would be?

I was thinking along the lines of each game, so going from DA:O back into the studio a couple of years later for DA2, then again when he came back for DA:I. Mind you, Cullen's voice is pretty much GE's natural voice too, so at least he's going to sound the same, even if he didn't remember Cullen's personality, lol.

I think my current plan for a Dalish elf is one who's determined to drag her clan into the modern era. She'll have spent some time interacting with humans too, but I imagine she'd be unpopular as a result. Hopefully, this'll create an interesting dynamic with Cullen (in my head anyway!) and means she debunks some notions he might have about the dalish.

This is pretty much how I planned my dalish mage to be,she's progressive but also cares about preserving her culture. She's also slightly disappointed with the way the dalish are stuck in the past, she believes that they ought to rememberer their past while living in the present.

About humans, she's not very fond of them as a whole but avoids to judge every single individual for the actions of the many, she also knows that her people are also capable of cruelty against humans which kind of contributes in her whole "don't see the forest for the trees" philosophy.

I also think that Cullen will be  34 at most and this assuming that he was indeed 24 in Origins, but so far we know that the ages given in the toolset weren't completely accurate. So I'd say somewhere between 30-35 just in case he was either younger or slightly older than his given age.

Yeah, or maybe something from the pink cage in Origins ... Maybe confronting WIlmod, or getting bashful talking about the ladies from the rose... It all depepnds on what resonates with him as Cullen's character. Maybe someone should ask him someday. I know I'd be curious as to whether he uses this method.

It doesn't have to be a long phrase either. I bet Yuri Lowenthal starts off any Sandal recording session with "Enchantment?"

I think Greg Ellis can remember Cullen as soon as they show him the script :) Remember how he was asked about the stuttering in DAO on twitter, and he instantly remembered why he did that? :) And it was years ago!

Yeah, I'm going to pretend Cullen is at least 35 :)

(We totally have this "forever young" gene in my family. My dad looked 40 when he turned 60, and I'm 29, and they still ask my documents when I'm buying alcohol, so apparently I look younger than 18  )

If Cullen looks younger, then I'll just assume it's because he finally got out of that dirty Kirkwall, where the air is bad, and filled with ash, and stinks of misery  And now Cullen is freeeee, and he spends a lot of time outdoors, breathing fresh air, drinking clean water, sleeping at least 6 hours at night (with my warden)... All that is good for the skin. Especially the warden part.

Same! A year or so ago I actually had a waitress hold my license up near the light to see the hologram because she thought it was fake lol! Although lately I look at myself and think I see lines around my mouth OH NO  :o but otherwise I don't have any wrinkles or anything.

My favourite was the Emile De Launcet quest. Sometimes I send him back to the circle just so that he gets laid and my Hawke asks him how it went, LOL! Even Meredith finds it funny when you tell her.

I'd like to see more of those light hearted quests in DAI, it breaks up the doom and gloom nicely.
