Thanks for the game suggestions, guys! I loved Deus Ex Human Revolution - the ending fell flat for me, though. BUT PRITCHARD/ADAM FOREVERRRRRRR. XD

 

 

I know, it's really tempting, isn't it? I know I am taking a week off for when the game comes out. My mother won't be pleased, but she's been through my Harry Potter days - she knows how determined I get when it comes to things I love. XD

 

My son always tries to get out of school on game release days, because I do it. I am a terrible example.

 

But I really need the uninterrupted time to play! It took me 4 months to finish Origins after all!

Origins really made me feel like i was on an epic adventure.

 

My kids were younger then and needed my time more, so I ususally only  had and hour or two late at night a few days a week. Plus I hadn't played anything other than nintendo ds in years and  years so I sucked really bad at first. I think I died at least 10 times during the origin story, lol!

Yeah, so wish I could take like a week off work after the game comes out. But seeing how I have to buy the game/upgrade my computer so I can actually play the game that would be really irresponsible.

Edit: Whatever, I can just not sleep or something. PROBLEM SOLVED!

That would hurt! I think in the MD interview Cameron said we would be getting access to it before the game is released. I hope that does happen because I don't want to have to sit there staring wistfully at the game case beside me while I input all my info in the Keep

On the other hand, it will give those of us who preordered physical copies of the game something to do while installing it!

I bought the Inquisitor's Edition for PC. GameStop exclusive, and unlike Amazon GameStop doesn't have release-day shipping.

I asked EA if I can redeem my copy on Origin before it gets here so I can start playing at release (I took the week off work already) but no dice. Sigh...

I bought the physical edition for PS4 and have to go pick it up myself... I'm praying I'll be able to get there on the day of. (Also.... I preordered Inquisitor's too. I jsut couldn't resist).

Very true, I forgot about that I'm going to have to stay off this thread once it hits October 7, my game won't be delivered until the 10th and I don't think I will be able to handle everyone gushing about how awesome it is when I can't even play it. I will turn into a raginig, envious beast lol

And, as I've said repeatedly, and will probably say more between now and then-the 8th is my birthday, so I'm already planning to do some extra work the week before so that I can have that week to be all "Nope." to anything outside my house haha

Cassandra might not know it's hostile. She might decide to go there as It'd be (possibly, on her knowledge), a safe location due to being not used anymore.
Now that I think of, Therinfal is controlled by the Red templars, right?

Seemed to me to be controlled by either red templars or cultists. I was imagining that we clean them out and take it over again, but the info they've given us is far from conclusive.

I hear you on that! Getting info now is way different to getting info when you are in play mode, unless it's something you seek out yourself. Though, I would come on here to let everyone know that I destroyed Thedas within the first 5 hours of game play because my decision making skills are terrible

Like R2, I ordered from Gamestop, so no release-day shipping. I paid extra for next-day shipping, but I'll need something to do to distract me while everyone else is posting glorious spoilers. So, I'll play with the Keep.

yeah, exactly. same here. :/ I coulda sworn I saw somewhere in the Inquisitor's edition marketing somethng about release-day shipping, but when I finally went to pre-order, I couldn't find that info. Ah well! I wouldn't really have time to play during the week anyway. :sob:

I ordered mine through GameStop aswel *sigh* I'm on board with you. I'm kind of thinking now that I might stay away from the keep (if they do release it early) so I will have something to do while waiting for my game. That is of course, unless I get into the beta which I highly doubt.

My preorder has been done for a long time. Just waiting till October now. So if it's not at the store by the 7th of October, I will have the Keep at least...errr I guess lol
