[Owlfruit Potion]

My pre-order is in-store too. They said they probably weren't going to open at midnight for people to pick them up, so I'll get it at on my way to school on 10/7. Although I wonder if all the E3 buzz will change that? Or is the decision Bioware's? I hate waiting in lines, though, so I'm not sure I'd go anyway.

I preordered the digital deluxe version the day it was available. I will preload and then sit staring at my laptop for 3 days, salivating and dreaming about Cullen. The laptop I bought last spring especially for DAI, when I thought it would be out fall '13

 

oh yeah, and for DA2, I preordered a hard copy, and on release day was at the mall promptly at 9 am. However I didn't realize the store didn't open until 10, so ended up alternately staring through the door like a lost puppy and pacing. Then when I went to install it, it took 5 hours, just in time for my kids to get home from school

I've never ordered from GameStop before this (really wish the Inquisitor Edition had been available through Amazon), but apparently One Day shipping would get the game to us on release day. Or so Google told me. Here's hoping that that's actually the case.

I'm just going to preorder from Target.  You get a five dollar gift card for doing so, so in theory it's a bit cheaper.  Plus, I can just swing buy after work on release day, and pick up my copy.

OT. I'm watching Buffy Season 7 right now, episode Conversations with Dead people. (if you haven't seen this episode I highly recommend it, it's my fave)

 

There's a few things this episode makes me realize and think of. One, how I miss being way younger then what I am now lol. Two, that the music back then was way cooler then the stuff we have now. Three, how I've always had a fan obsession with something. Buffy, X-men, Kotor and now Dragon age.

 

btw, I totally miss Buffy le sigh. But Dragon Age certainly does a good job of filling that void in my life lol

I won't be preordering until I know for sure what system I will be playing it on!  Worse case scenario will be my 360, but I'm hoping to get family members to help me buy (maybe) an xbox one for my birthday, which is in late August. I definitely think I'm leaning towards xbox instead of PS4, though it might also depend upon what my brother and brother in law get (for MP reasons).

That's my fourth favourite episode, I think. Which is surprising because there's no Anya.

I'm not sure what system I'll get if for either.  I am leaning towards PC, with the plan of building a new machine specifically to optimize the game.  Or just buy a PS4, which would be cheaper, but not my prefered platform.

Buffy was my childhood I still get all sad and nostalgic when I hear that buffy/angel theme.

Like R2, I ordered from Gamestop, so no release-day shipping. I paid extra for next-day shipping, but I'll need something to do to distract me while everyone else is posting glorious spoilers. So, I'll play with the Keep.

I pre-ordered from GameStop as well, but I'll be picking it up in the store. I don't mind that there probably won't be a midnight openening. I've done that before and standing in line wasn't fun. It's just as easy for me to wait until later that day to pick it up.
