Hey ! 

I have an important question: since the next 4 pages of my comic will be shirtless Cullen from various angles, how buff do you think he is?

I think that, if we are being realistic, he should be quite sinewy, but not a hulk, because I don't think he has an access to magical pills of buffiness guys swallow in my gym, protein cocktails, and gym apparatus. I think he should be quite slim. But in DA men are usually beefcakes, and it looks like he has very meaty hips in DAI, so I'm a bit puzzled.

So let's talk about naked Cullen?

He looks rather buff in DAI,I'd say despite the constant exercise a templars duty will require,simply by wearing a plate armour almost 12 hrs per day while moving/exercising in it can have some really impressive results.
Although what would play a major role in how muscular his build would be,is his diet and we know next to nothing about a Templar's diet :/ although I expect some kind of continence since they're a religious order etc...So maybe something like this I guess.

Clearly, he wears a girdle to hide his massive beer gut. He doesn't notice Hawke is a mage because he's too distracted thinking about potato chips.
 
But seriously, the Templars are a military order and that means constant exercise. His physique is probably comparable to male Hawke.

Keep in mind a few things. He usually wears a lot if armor, which could be 60-70 pounds extra to carry around and he uses a 2h sword. Carrying that much weight around tends to make someone a nit buff. Then there's his weapon of choice. Regardless if its a 2h sword or sword n Shield. Practicing with a weapon like that would be a big work out. I think he'd be around the same build as Paul Walker, Steven Amell or even Hugh Jackman from the early x-men movies.

Cullen is a bit older now, so his rib cage and shoulder span should be a bit wider as well. Hope that helped.

I'm thinking around Male Hawke, a little slimmer, and maybe a tad softened (like an inch of fat), for cuddles and freezing Fereldan winters.

I think he's probably former buff. You know, like that guy who works out all the time, then takes a break for months because of an injury.. so he's still kind of buff, but with a little to hang on to? Especially current day, when he might be sitting at a desk more often.

I was just watching the male dwarven demo in other thread and is the inquisitor using the american voice? It doesn`t sound like the one in the trailer but i`m not sure.

I don't picture him getting a little tubby after becoming Knight-Captain just because he's so serious, dedicated, etc. If anything I picture him taking out any obsessive tendencies he might have on his fitness. Like, if he doesn't get as much chance to train during the day as he used to, he'll make up for it by destroying the dummies in the training yard every night, all alone. Like Jaromir Jagr skating alone in a weighted vest for hours after every hockey game to make up for the fact that he's old now.

 

(EDIT: And let that be the first and last time I ever compare Cullen to Jagr.)
