Me too! There are so many things that I want to see, regarding Cullen. So excited.

There's been a lot of talk about romance scenes being the bottleneck as far as race/gender availability, so I thought I'd take a tour of YouTube and see what other games are doing in that regard. Who knew that the Witcher 2 had 45 minutes of sex scenes?   Maker's breath! And people accuse Dragon Age of being a dating sim! I'm not slamming the Witcher 2, or even inviting comparison. People like it, including some people I respect, so it must have something to recommend it. And let's face it. With so many romances spread among so many races/genders, there is probably more than 45 minutes of sex scenes in Dragon Age. I'm just glad that 1) the bulk of it is talking rather than (repetitive) bump-and-grinding and 2) that it *is* spread among so many romances/races/genders.

So staring some more at Cullen's new armor, I finally realized what it reminds me of (and double swoooon! ).



In Ladyhawke (1985) , Nevarre wears similar armor on his arms (along with a surcoat and cloak, too), and I always remember this one part at the end. The lovers are reunited at last (sorry spoiler!), and stunned, Michelle Pfeiffer grabs Rutger Hauer's arm to pull him to his feet. As she moves to lead him away, she grabs his gauntlet (2:12) and her hand slips off the metal a couple of times.

I always found it a very affecting touch, that she's sort of awkwardly fumbling him and his hard-to-hold metal armor, right at the romantic climax of the movie. Now I'm picturing my Inquisitor doing the same with those bulky gauntlets of Cullen's.   Where you have to hold his arm between the shoulder thingie and the elbow thingie. Hee hee.

I never thought it was that bad, actually. I think it's just that his thighs are that much bigger than his narrow hips. Nothing compared to Merrill's dislocated shoulder blades and broken neck during her romance scenes.

That is pretty cute, it is little touches like those that I'd like to see in the game. And because I'm generally an awkward person can my Inquisitor trip, or accidentally spit while trying to impress Cullen? Please, I know those things will win him over

Hahaha he has got a bit of meat on those thighs but Merrill, wow. That's something she really needs to get looked at (a little part of me that's still bitter at having to kill her entire clan because she would not stop playing with that mirror is satisfied to see her looking like that  )
