Myself and Gala had been talking about who we put on the throne in DA:O, we said Anora and her VO favourited it just a second ago.

And obsessedwjpn too, it was her tweet

I want the complete opposite. I want an Alistair type of LI, all sweet, nervous and innocent to the point that everyone playing the game falls in love with them until it turns up that they end up being the true villain! xD /cackles

Oh no I liked Alistair, he was sweet and innocent but also funny and outgoing.

 

Sweet, nervous and innocent would get either the "ohgawd, leave me alone" treatment, or the automatic "younger sibling" treatment from my PC's. I can't help putting a bit of myself in there and I'm not nice enough to deal with a sweet LI

 

EDIT: This is why Merrill's romance is the only one I couldn't bring myself to complete. She's just too innocent and childlike.

imagine a villain Alistair who was the one to orchestrate the betrayal of the GW's and his brother, then put on the whole innocent act with the Warden in efforts to secure himself as king? The whole 'I don't want to be king' used as a line to make the character believe that he would be that much more of a humble ruler!

My canon warden didn't do any of the evil stuff, but used it to her advantage to plot to put herself on the throne and advance her family. She'd have been verrry impressed with Alistair

I made him king so my gal could snag the throne as well. All part of my dastardly plan to make sure the Howe's paid dearly. Plus I wasn't going to share Alistair.

I'm sure they would've changed the option at the landsmeet to have him interrupt your warden and claim his place on the throne, smugly stating a thank you for getting him there in the first place.

That would honestly have made Alistair my favourite videogame person EVER providing he used his revealed confidence and scheming ability to declare my warden queen still. Ambition can be verrry attractive

I'm glad you understand the Awakening DLC just granted all my wardens dreams, too- ruling over Howe's old lands was the icing on the wedding cake

And if the idiot who wrote it in the first place had done his research he would have known that Mark Darrah had already clarified that in the post where he mentioned there being 40 endings. I hate "games journalists" bunch of stuck-up-there-own-arse twats.

I reckon it'll probably be pretty quiet aside from the odd Tweet. They said they had more coming very soon, which usually means they go quiet for a while whilst preparing. My theory is that it'll be all the Gamescom stuff.

"If you had paid attention and done your research the first time around, Pramath, you'd would have been aware that Mark Darrah clarified the "40 endings" when he first spoke about them. Perhaps do your research more thoroughly in future, rather than rehashing old news in a desperate attempt for views.

 

I highly doubt anyone at the studio is even aware that you ever "called them out" in the first place, dear. Talk about delusions of grandeur."
