After that I think Cullen would just quit. Everything! Forever!

I would love to see him throw a hissy fit and storm out like that! Hahahaha!

Aww, poor Cullen. His girls always turn out to be something completely different from what he had expected
I think he needs a dog. Dogs are more predictable.
A puppy!
Aww, I wish I had spare money to commission him something Cullen-related
I love Agregor's art ![]()

But this is how he quit the templars, lol! ![]()
Well, I meant more that we know he sings at some point, and everybody reads. It's just all the rest sounds very... Prince Charming/Jane Austine love interest, cheesy lol.
I'm catching up, don't mind me..
Not everybody reads for pleasure. Many people have to read for work, maybe (my husband comes to mind - he's a mechanic so he reads manuals at work) but you wouldn't catch him reading anything for pleasure in his off time. Where we go during the summer to camp, there are only a couple people there who do; most are more interested in boating, fishing, and drinking - not only do they turn their noses up at anyone reading a book, but also actively make fun of the "book lady" laying out in the sun with one and relaxing (after which, her middle finger flying is a common sight, as long as there are no children around).
So um.. yeah, not everyone reads ![]()

I bit my tongue here lol. Awww this was funny to read. I think the same way. If he's gonna have any skill, talent, whatever, I'd rather him be in the forge hand crafting a weapon. That's the only craft I would want this man doing...shirtless...unrealistic, but I don't care lol
Oh, I like that idea. Very much. He has a very nice sword of his own, so he can craft something for my Inquisitor. She is a rogue, so a nice pair of daggers would be very sweet. And I am not unromantic...he could put a tiny heart on the pommel if he wishes. ![]()
"Screw this! I'm gonna become a topless horse washer!"
... And that's how he got recruited into the Inquisition.
LOL and we come full circle! #headcanonaccepted
In the 1st DA comic (aka-the-one-where-Greagoir-is-a-dick-who-beats-pregnant-women) templar recruits train by the water and throw each other down into it, lol
I think swimming is a matter of survival for them
I think Cullen is good at swimming too. Maybe not an Olympic champion, but at least he doesn't drown. I even have a little comic planned about him giving swimming lessons to the Hero of Ferelden, who would just drown like a stone, because I don't think they teach mages to swim.
BTW, in that DA comic I mentioned it looks like mage apprentices were allowed to hang out not only outside the tower, but on the bank. On the other side of the lake! Because that's how Veness escaped. Also, my Amell told Duncan in DAO that apprentices are allowed to walk the ground around the tower. So looks like they weren't locked up all the time. But it contradicts what Finn says. Or maybe they just stopped the exercises, but still allow mages to go outside for botany lessons. Looks like Irving was good at standing his ground.
Not that it's really apropos of anything, since this is all just speculation, but I thought the original Orson Scott Card DA comic wasn't really considered canon?

... I didn't even know such a thing existed!

Wait. He did a DA comic?
...and a little blast from the past.

I don't know. I thought it was official, so it makes it canon to me. Unless BioWare people stated somewhere that this comic should be ignored? It kind of does contradict the lore sometimes. For example, templars use some kind of enchanted crystals to dispel magic, instead of their abilities. And it was super easy to escape the Circle. And Greagoir is a total ass there. And a blonde Circle mage lady is dressed like a witch of the wilds. And dead people can be encountered in the Fade for real. And you can keep your family in the Circle if you ask Greagoir nicely. And Fereldans have horses, lol
Other than that it seems ok.
Yeah... HERE. It um, well, it's generally not considered to be very good. But YMMV.
Thank you for the link, lady. I'm not particularly interested in giving him my money, and if it's not considered canon, or very good, then maybe I'm alright with that. ![]()

You know, I'm not sure. I've always been told it's not canon, but it was before my time as a hardcore fan, so I don't know where that notion comes from.
You've missed the point of the topic entirely, lol!
Probably.. I haven't had enough coffee yet! ![]()
I do see him as a maybe-reader tho. Ever since the mention of him finding Varric's book, I have a picture in my head of him reading it, with his eyebrows going higher and higher and starting to blush..
Definitely agree on the pressed flowers vs. tearing off of clothing. I can get flowers anywhere!

Agree with your logic. And as a personal disclaimer... if I were given the choice to buy it today instead, I also would opt against giving him my money.
I am torn.
I wanna make human female mage and see how that works as a romance, considering his history,
But the geek in me, and honesty the great crush I have on Gwendoline Christie's take of Brienne of Tarth, demands me to make a Knightly expy of her.
Oh lord, decisions, decisions.

So... so far this is all I could find, where the comic folk seem to think their comic is canon. Hmm. Maybe it was decided later it wasn't, and that's why they weren't continued?

Or it was received so poorly that they struck it from canon lol
It was pretty bad.
Gwendoline Christie isn't voicing the Inquisitor, you know that, right?
One of them. Remember there are 2 voices for both male and female. We have heard both male, but I don't think we've heard the second female yet.
Hold up, was the femQunari from the demo Alix Wilton Regan?
