Am I the only one who will not play mage while romancing Cullen ?

 

Seeing as my favorite mage class didn't make it in (Spirit Healer) I'll probably roll a archer rogue or s/s warrior first.

Yeah, I have heard a dev reference Quentin's acts as necromancy.


That being said, the Mortalitasi are famous for necromancy...perhaps we learn the art from one of them?

 

Maybe we can get more moderate view as well about necromancery cause so far it doesn't look like I can headcanon around it and make good character use it like I could with blood magic.

Well, a kossith mage makes the most sense- Qunari let their dead bodies just lay around, they're not into the whole boo hoo precious body, boo hoo. They're just meat sacks. So, for them, it can be positive. Uhm, I don't know- necromancer, technically, might be a combination of blood and spirit magic; so it's a balance?

Indeed. Some people in the Dorian thread believe that maybe Alexius tried to teach Dorian necromancy, but Dorian chose to devote himself to healing, a different application of necromancy instead, hence Alexius calling Dorian "his final failure".

Perhaps for Tal-Vashoth. The Qunari barely teach their mages anything, much less let them specialize in necromancy of all things.

It's probably because they are letting all of the events of E3 blow over. I expect more companion stuff next week, considering they branched out and did a Cassandra Q&A

True, but the cultural stigmas the Qunari have stick with most Kossith when they become Tal-Vashoth..
