Well, look at it from a straight dude's POV:

Morrigan: Feisty, challenges you, rude, will sleep with you pretty easily

Vivienne: Aloof, noble, speaks in riddles, hard to get her to sleep with you

I'm guessing here

LOL It's funny you say that... I had the hardest time getting Morrigan to sleep with me. I never actually closed the deal before I lost interest in my last playthrough. Every time I talked with her I was pulling out my hair. Everytime I was nice, I got nowhere. Everytime I was a d!ck, it wasn't in the right way. Guess she's just not my type. ^_^

Spend several hours today playing #DragonAgeInquisition and I can tell you is that Cullen is a real B.A.M.F.

:wizard:

I like how they refuse to officially confirm Cullen, or share any HD pictures of him, but his name accidentally pops up here and there from time to time  And we knew we could romance him before we knew anything else about him.

So do you think he became a BAMF because of the events in The Last Straw?

I think he was already a BAMF in DAO. He was like my Shep after Akuze.

Yeah. Not that I want to say the f word... but that sure seems designed for the fans... :?

Yeah, "accidentally."  ;)

So watching that interview, Cam describes Viv as "an ice queen" and says that that's the polar opposite of Morrigan. Hmmm. The polar opposite of ice queen seems to be someone warm, open and friendly. Not quite how I'd describe Morrigan. Unless she's changed quite a bit.

Morrigan was never cold. She was wild, sarcastic, and a bit clinical, but she was also very passionate, emotional, and curious, even if she had difficulties expressing how she felt, because Flemeth taught her that it would be a sign of weakness. Morrigan was quite easy to read. I expect with Viv it will be like talking to an ice sculpture, lol.

Why does Bioware insist on teasing us? Cullen seems to be the subject that always pops up in their tweets yet they go no farther. Yet I still love 'em!! xD <3

I'm just saying, do you think Alistair 10 years into being a templar would be the second most powerful person in Kirkwall, or would he be claiming to be foreign nobility while tasked with guarding a canoe?

Being a templar was never Alistair's choice. He wouldn't have the devotion or motivation to pursue that career, like Cullen, who wanted to be like Greagoir when he grows up. =) Alistair himself admits in DAO, that he would be a pathetic templar. It's not because he's dumb or lazy, because he's neither, it just because he never wanted that life. Cullen apparently did.

I never said he was dumb or lazy unless he is hardened- which might have happened had he been a templar in the Ferelden Circle- he had no drive to be more than rank and file. He took orders from a junior member for the entire game, and it seems like the Warden would still have that level of influence even after DAO. Even in the Grey Wardens, he seemed to lack motivation, and he is an unwilling King; everything hinges on him being influenced by others.

What's Cullen's full background?

Because they KNOW we've been waiting for this fluffer-nutter for YEARS and they tease us every chance they get to watch us squirm!

I can't wait to see Cullen be bamf. It makes me feel happy in all the right places.

I think Alistair just had a fear of leading, either stemming from how he was raised in Arl Eamon's castle or because of his birthrite. Cullen, we have no idea what his background is prior to DA:O.

Cullen seemed. . . hesitant, at first- he wanted to be good, like Ser Gregoir, but I doubt he would have climbed so quickly without his trauma.

That and Meredith saw that he held the same ideals as she. Therefore, she kind of pushed for him to rise through the ranks. But, yes, his trauma played a large roll in how his ideals of being cautious of mages matched with Meredith's.

Well, I mean, they had similar ideals, especially young Cullen, but Cullen wasn't nearly as harsh; he wanted a hard line for safety's sake, not to persecute them.

I like the idea of having a three mage Dragon Age playthrough, just to see the effect it had on Cullen. Three of the most powerful, good (my playthrough, anyway) heroes, and every single one a mage.

I kind of have a feeling that perhaps he was an orphan that was raised in the chantry. But, I could be completely off there! lol

Nnnf. Not gonna lie, yo. The mental images that immediately flood in as soon as I hear that Cullen is a bamf?

*fans self*

Just imagine it. Just imagine it. Some serious shizz is going down and your Quizzy? Maybe you're a little worried. Maybe the odds aren't in your favor. Things are looking questionable and all you can think is "Maker, preserve us." And you timidly reach for the door handle to step into the room that may hold your fate, the possible scene of a future crime, and Cullen brushes your hand aside. His eyes meet yours. "Step back, Inquisitor," he says with finality, the sort you know you can't argue down. "Remain out here. Tend to your troops. I will be back momentarily." His gaze travels your face, pausing to admire the crook of your nose and the slight dimple in the center of your lower lip. For a moment it looks as if he's got more to say, but he simply inclines his head when words fail him.

You don't want him to go but he's left you little choice.

The door flies open and he dashes in, sword drawn and helm lowered. He doesn't need your help. Foes clammor for windows and doors, knowing their fate is sealed the moment the door snaps closed behind him. He's Cullen and he is a man to be feared.

That'll be my first imported world-state! :D

I doubt that it will be mentioned, though... If it was mentioned, I wonder what Cullen might have to say on the subject?

 Uhhh... I'm gonna be the voice of Lola here and say that's a bit too Harlequin romance-y sounding for me  My inquisitor would shove him aside, "Are you nuts?! Why the hell are you talking like that, anyway??" and race in there first
