I really like what he wears in the War Room concept art picture. It looks great, practical, useful, and quite comfortable, because it can also keep him warm in winter. I hope he changes the outfit sometimes. Although seeing fully dressed "tortured" Leliana makes me wonder if they have just one body model for the advisors. Which would make love scenes as awkward as the one with Anders. My husband ruined it for me with his comments about Anders being so horny, that he didn't need to take the coat off
I had to skip it ever since, I couldn't unsee.

They'll probably just use a default body when it comes to the sexytime scenes, like they did in DA:O. Chances are Cullen's just a floating head without that armour, like the companions were in DA2.

Another possible option, Mahariel and Lavellan. Could they be related?
"The patriarch of the Mahariel family was the former Keeper of the Sabrae clan prior to Marethari. He fell in love with another hunter from another clan in somewhat controversial circumstances, however it is not known if that happened before he became the clan's Keeper or not "

That'd be great : ) I like all continuity stuff between the games and I'd love my quizzys have some important relations in the world they are living. Like dwarf being Cadash, being from same house as Shale is very cool ![]()

So watching that interview, Cam describes Viv as "an ice queen" and says that that's the polar opposite of Morrigan. Hmmm. The polar opposite of ice queen seems to be someone warm, open and friendly. Not quite how I'd describe Morrigan. Unless she's changed quite a bit.
Late, but he could, potentially mean that Vivienne is very in control of her emotions. Morrigan, on the other hand, while she can be cold and curt and keep people at a distance, at least in DA:O, let her emotions known. If she was upset you knew it. If she was pleased as a cat you knew it. When she called the female!Warden her sister? She sounded very uncertain of her new feelings but happy and possibly a little choked up?
The banter in the demos and such didn't really make me think Vivienne was an ice queen, though. More sassy and noble, while keeping people at a distance. I guess I'll have to wait to play the game to find out what's up there. /o/

That's the lighting at work I believe. (He also seems to have a lack of scruff. This makes me sad).
Don't worry, his scruff of facial hair is still there!

So, I wonder if the Human Mage Female Inquisitor will be a relative of Hawk and Warden Amell, too. He must think they just have amazing genes, if so.
...
Dangit.
*Logs into DAO, starts female mage.*
This time it could be a cousin on the Hawke side instead of the Amell side.
Just so you know... they've actually said that the Inquisitor will not be related to the Amells this time around.

I wonder how Miss&Mister Trevelyan are important? I've never heard of them... *looks at WoT*
So far I've only heard about the Cadash. And this is funny, because their thaig is dead, and taken over by the darkspawn. I wonder if our dwarf was one of those whose relation to an ancient noble house was rediscovered by the Warden?
With the elves I can guess they think they are related to some royal dinasty of Arlathan.
And the Qunquisitors are unique just because they are qunari who are not Qunari ![]()
Edit for our badass Cullen:

I'm guessing that how you choose to implement your advisors will determine if your network will put its emphasis on force (Cullen), secrecy (Leliana) or economy (Scribbles)..
That being said, the more I hear about Cullen the more I'm certain that in my canon DAI playthrough the military is going to play a huge part in the reunification of Thedas.
Besides, I was partial to a man in uniform anyway.

TBH, I'm hoping they're not important at all. I'm not terribly interested in playing a special snowflake, so I'd prefer having them just be an average Jo(e) thrust into an extraordinary circumstance, like getting the Fade stuck in your hand.

The devs said that each protagonist's race's Surname is of some importance to the history, so I think we're stuck being of some sort of noble/important heritage... I can only hope it'll be a historical Surname that got shamed somewhere down the line and/or is considered a laughing stock.

Yes, I hope they will leave it for us to create our story, like in Awakening (I think I heard something like that in one of E3 interviews? That we can create a new character from scratch?). Because while I love the Origins, they kind of defined my characters more than I did in certain aspects. And I would like to create the backstory myself, and maybe only voice in the game why my character was there in the temple. Pick an option in a dialogue tree maybe?
1) I was with the mages (feels!).
2) I came as a pilgrim
3) I was a hired sword for one of the pilgrims.
4) I had a crush on one of the mages and followed them here (lol, FEELS!!!)
5) I just got curious what the hell were those humans doing up there.
6) I got injured in a fight, and the monks offered me shelter and protection while I was recovering (OMG, feels!)

I also prefer to start off not being anyone special. i never joined in myself, but there was another thread speculating on the beginning of Inquisition, and why your character would have been present at this important event. I rather like the idea of being some average joe shmo who just happened to be there as part of some bodyguard unit or something. - a nobody who becomes somebody because they got plunged in to this insane course of events.
If my character does turn out to be related to someone important, hopefully it's a distant or forgotten relation.

^This.
Cullen: Hey, you are a Trevelyan?
Quizzy: Yes.
Cullen: Are you related to the Trevelyans of the Dark Unicorn Bog?
Quizzy: What? lol, no idea, man. I've never been there! (is this even a real place???)
Cullen: I hope you are not. I heard they all were abominations, and the templars burned them all alive somewhere after the Theirin Restoration.

Cullen: I had a book about that somewhere. With pictures. Let me find it for you.

I think that's the thing I'm most curious about currently. According to that interview posted up last night, the opening of the game is nicely paced out so that we can get to grips with the new game and the controls etc. I can only presume that we'd get to start shaping our characters personality from that point, which I hope includes our motivations for being there.
