Boredom, lol.
And anything good comes out of it, except for irritation?

Cullen needs to get some qunari love in DAI
At least my first Inquisitor will be qunari.
But hmm I wonder if there really is chance to threesome in the game since there was one in DAO and DA2. Or was it even foursome in DAO? Idk, I haven't tried it ^^;
There was a foursome between The Warden, Leliana, Zevran and Isabela.
If that option is given to us in DAI, I'd want to see it containing the Inquisitor, Iron Bull, Cullen and Cassandra, or Inquisitor, Cassandra, Cullen and Varric. Because aside from Cullen having a harem at his beck and call, mortifying Cassandra is my intended main goal in Inquisition.
Counter-question - why do you come to these hate threads and take a bait?
Cause I'm naive.. I didn't think it as hate thread ^^;
Also if there is possibility that someone wants to know more.. and can change their opinion of the character, isn't it worth it. Idk, people's texts has made me change my opinion of the characters so I guess for some it can too? Also I love to talk about characters I like so I'm like.. yay opportunity to write essay :3
I don't see either Cullen or Cass being into threesomes and foursomes lol
Yeah, reminds me that I'm not a basement dweller like a lot of the people that create the hate threads in the first place, LOL!
I'm reading this from my desk at work, so yeah
Good point.
And anything good comes out of it, except for irritation?
Amusement, sometimes. More people on my blocked list, other times.
Counter-question - why do you come to these hate threads and take a bait?
Well, I'm not really sure I take bait since I never respond to them personally
It's more of an observation from seeing it over the years than anything. I rarely ever post on the Bioware forums because I'm not keen on confrontation.
But yeah, I guess I read them because I'm curious about what people think. There are always a few reasonable people in those threads on both sides and sometimes I learn something new. *shrugs*
I don't see either Cullen or Cass being into threesomes and foursomes lol
Well Alistair took part in threesome as well and I didn't ever think he would do that. So maybe there is suprising sides of Cullen and Cassandra as well? ![]()
I was just questioning this on that other thread but I wanted to ask your opinions.
Why do you think people get so legitimately angry over the large amount of Cullen love? I was saying that I get not understanding a huge fanbase for a minor character but I've seen people get truly mad about it. Like, "how dare you appreciate a minor character!" That kind of mindset just makes me scratch my head so much.

Ditto for Cullen possibly following Alistair's "I'm a bad, bad man" example. And I doubt Cass would be into either, except in a drunken FemShep/Javik "Let us never speak of this again" type thing.

I think maybe they just get bored of hearing about the character, mostly. I don't think it helps that Cullen is a Templar, so the hardcore pro-mage fans are automatically gonna hate him anyway.

"For example, it was revealed that the way each romance unfolds can be very different. This can result in standard love affairs or even more comedic pairings."
I am really really loving this idea and I wonder how this will play out. Is it possible to to just have a fling with one character while trying to romance the other? Since they're improving the mechanic to give us different outcomes I'm assuming we'll get more than just the standard "I don't like this, choose" option. makes me wonder how Cullen would react in certain situations.

To summarize in a nice, neat way: Trolls.

I think this is a great part of it. Which is funny, because I think a lot of us are pro-mage, or at least neutral.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the information that Ashe said the Examiner took out of context from her PAX notes? Or am I mistaken?

That's not entirely correct. People took what LadyInsanity said in her PAX East notes and got it wrong.

People tend to resent what is alien to them. "They like him, i don't. I can't be wrong."

Ah, thanks for clearing it up, they did add a clarification but it seemed to focus on Varric. although it would be really nice to get more variety when it comes to the outcome of the relationships.

Lola, I believe she updated late last night that the Examiner has since published a new updated version.
Meh. After all the trolls and hate with Joker it's no skin off my nose - and after ME3 the hate died because everyone else was focused on OTHER things. If I did go in there, I would hope for a civil debate and discussion. That I can appreciate and enjoy because I get a different perspective - sometimes one that is valid. They don't have to like Cullen or agree with me.
What's going on currently is not that, so I stay away.
Yeah, after Joker it kinda feels like I've been prepped for this. Ah, Bioware forums. You never truly change!

It's still not accurate.
The way you guys talk cracks me up sometimes! You're like "we've seen so many battles and walked so many battlefields. Nothing harms us anymore. We have risen above in our love of Cullen!"
Though with how much flak Cullen fans get, I'm not surprised that you've grown some thick skin!
