Nice, I got the ugliest palette for Cullen when I was doing that, and he ended up looking dead, lol

Maybe I'll manage to redo it. I was distracted by E3 when I was doing it. My Dishonored one turned out much better. But I'm not a colorist, so I knew it would be a disaster I prefer drawing in just black&white.

So I'm doing some wiki'ing about Orlais today and found this interesting little gem:

 

"a family might be associated with a lion crest, and matching lion masks will identify them in public."

I just thought it was interesting that the only example they use of how masks are designed was one talking about a lion. Was there anyone in TME that wore lion-inspired masks? I haven't read it.

These just feel most boring one's for me. Varric can be okay at times but there is just many more intresting characters at the moment.

I dunno! If Orlesians wear masks when they're just going to the market, I can't imagine that their warriors would just walk around with an uncovered face. But then again, the only Orlesian fighters I know of are the Harlequins from MotA and they were pretty funky.

By the way, in the dwarf demo video (the one that was taken off), the dwarf inquisitor was a shield/sword warrior, and sheathed his sword on his belt. (His shield, of course, stayed on his back).

In truth, it was difficult for us to write... we desperately wanted them to get together, even just the once but we didn't wanna turn Cullen into a cheat. We were hoping that it wouldn't be a scenario if Cullen was a companion in DAI. As it turned out he's not a companion but he is a romance option, so it's all good!

I don't see how any of us in here would forget that we know NEXT TO NOTHING about how Cullen fits into the Inquistion. We barely know whether he will fit into our Inquisitor's pants.

Hm, so his lion helmet could actually be significant. I think I'd laugh if it turned out he was from Orlesian nobility.

Well, the symbol of Orlais is an actual lion. It's even on their flag.
