Cullen a day keeps blood mages away:

I find that you can really see the scar on his face in that pic, and I likey!
And boo for Architect killing.
I'm also club no-killing Architect ^^; He's one of my fav character in DA series so I always spare him.
Well, he technically did attack you multiple times. The Architect doesn't seem to understand ethics yet, but has the potential to do so, and I won't kill those who aren't attacking me or others, as a general rule (unless they beg for death).
And boo for Architect killing.
I couldn't let him live, he kidnapped the Grey Wardens and drained them dry
his intentions might well have been noble, but his methods weren't, and I'm of the belief that the survival of the darkspawn- unnatural, parasitic, corruptive creatures, is not supposed to be at the top of my warden's to-do list
it did take me a long time to come to that decision though, I agonised for aaaages!
Yeah, I used to be really sympathetic to the Architect... until I read the Calling. ![]()
What if these mysterious Warden allies are the Red Templars?
Also, it has to be asked, do we know that all those plot flags fire properly in terms of dead architect or not? I never get Nate's quest because it thinks he died in my actually-fully-upgraded-so-no-one-dies Keep.
Hmmm maybe the RT's are masquerading as Wardens. Perhaps they even took over Adamant FortressWhat if these mysterious Warden allies are the Red Templars?

Or, perhaps they don't need to masquerade at all. Maybe the Wardens just think they're collaborating with some not-really-evil, totally-not-insane templars at first? That would be consistent with Nate's "It's ... complicated. Let's just say we live in strange times." comment.
edit: Actually, the more I think about it... this could be something! The templars approach the Wardens about something of cool and scholarly value in the Deep Roads, since Wardens are Deep Roads experts...? Hey, we found all this red lyrium, let's all go look for it together! Yay, woo hoo, friends, pay no attention to those red crystals growing out of my skin... ![]()

Interesting theory. It would explain why Nathaniel was sent to the thaig.
I had a problem getting his quest too, until I read that unless you have him in your party during the final battle, he's always flagged as dead despite having a fully upgraded keep. ![]()
Here's hoping the Architect doesn't body hop like Corypheus.
No kidding. I hadn't even thought about that. ![]()

Exactly. My canon playthrough also has dead Architect. I just assumed Nate's response about that, even though he recognizes that the Architect was killed, was maybe not flagged properly.
Man, it would be just like a Dragon Age game for me to have to kill Nathaniel to stop the Red Templars. ![]()
I hope that's not the case, because that would mean the Wardens knew about the red lyrium before Meredith went apesh!t, and well. What a potential mess haha.
I'm so excited. ![]()
That was wonderful!
Will there be more to come or is this a one shot?
I have one planned to continue this trek in the Deep Roads. We might see a certain sleeping creature. ![]()

Fantastic! The Devotion demon was a cool idea and I also like the way you've written Jace and Dorian's relationship thus far. Looking forward to it.
Yeah, I used to be really sympathetic to the Architect... until I read the Calling.
The reason I like him so the Calling and I was happy what he was doing in the Awakening, getting darkspawn awakened and their mind backs etc. Methods could have been better though. But yep I guess I'm very small minority when it comes to liking the Architect and awakened darkspawn.

I didn`t read the Calling but i just don`t trust the Architect. I think i only spared him once in a playthrough where i had Velanna in the final group and she asks to spare him so she could find her sister. My other wardens always killed him.

Yeah, I can see that. It's the erm, mass extinction of mankind part I had a problem with.

Yeah, that wasn't my favorite, either. ![]()
