The Fade mark isn't necessary to see him. Might help you remember him though. We shall see.

Hmm, the blurb didn't make it sound controlled to me... since it said most folks still forget him. Honestly, the blurb makes him sound exactly the same as in Asunder, minus alleged "self-realization" at the end.

Kid and I were just talking about this. I wonder how that will work. Before this, I was wondering how or why Cole would even be around, but now I'm both curious and a little excited to see how this works.

Oh I'd love that!He can't only speak to the Inquisitor and maybe the mages(Vivi,Dorian,Solas)while the others taunt the 4 four of them for chatting with their "imaginary" friend.

I'm thinking it's meant to look sort of lank, to show how ghostly and forgettable, and not-very-well he is. Or so I hope

 

EDIT: Alternatively it's meant as an extra deterrent to the people who are still adamant they want to romance him

 

I would still romance him  Darn it, they better really emphasize the "child-like" aspect of his character so I don't feel sad I can't
