So, I reckon DG wrote Solas.

Remember he said one of his character came out looking hot and one of the other writers/editors disagreed? Well, Dorian is hot so it's probably not him, which leaves Solas out of the companions since he's not traditionally good looking like Dorian. He also said one of his characters was someone he'd always wanted to write and could identify with as well, right? And we all thought it would be Cole, but now we know it wasn't.

So my theory is Solas.

As I recall, DG was a bit touchy about Solas there for a while, although that could just be because he's lead writer.

 

So now that we know that Cassandra was the rewrite, WHO WROTE CULLEN?????

Interesting but the real question is...Who writes Cullen?
I guess we'll find out soon enough,not that it matters much since they're all great writers...I Just want to know whom I'll be thanking internally,every time we get a b.a.m.f Cullen scene.

I actually don't think she did. She said she wouldn't want to spoil anything for his writer when asked about food, but I think it was a non-specific denial. Allow me to poke around a bit.

I'd presume that if she did someone else picked up his writing once Tonia left... or rewrote him. Hard to say.

Well, yeah. They announced she was writing Blackwall. There has been no such announcement for Cullen yet. I mean, none of the writers have talked about who they were writing until their interviews came out. [WAGGLES EYEBROWS]

I reckon Cole is surprise meatballs because people forget he's there and then WOAH! Where did that meatball come from!

Second plot twist?! So strange. So Cassandra may well have had to have been the companion he had to totally rewrite. And since Cullen and Cassandra are both superficially similar characters, I don't really see it as likely that Hepler was also writing Cullen... Therefore, if Gaider was writing Cullen, he'd have to have been writing him from the start, (unless he got passed on later, which I'm thinking is unlikely).

Now since, the two wildcards here are Dorian and Solas, if Gaider isn't writing Cullen, then he's probably writing Dorian. Which fits into both my theories that Dorian is a gay LI and the character Gaider has always wanted to write is an exclusively gay LI.
