I think this would've been the case for me with DAO; I had two very different Wardens and each one fit better with either Alistair or Zevran. (Unfortunately for Mahariel, Alistair wasn't interested, so I'm killing Mahariel in the Keep... sorry, bro!). In DA2, I didn't have this problem, and I couldn't escape my Hawke x Fenris OTP of DOOOOM. Anders, great character, but I didn't feel that same pull.

 

I can see this happening with DAI IF I get the two LI I like (unlikely lol) because on the one hand you have Cullen, the character I adore and have been dreaming about romancing for 2+ years. But on the other hand, you have Blackwall, the character I just quite simply want to... rrrrr... you know

 

So far Cullen wins out 100% because character trumps looks, but again, if both options are available, after that initial Cullen playthrough (which will be my first, naturally... and I'm sure I'll make the wrong decisions and half the companions will die and the world will end)... I don't think I'll jump right to romancing him again the way I did with Fenris; I'll definitely try out Beardy (if he's available). 

 

If the other option is someone like Iron Bull, hmmm. I don't know if I will go for him for my second playthrough. Perhaps my fourth or beyond (as Sera is my third). If there's no Beardy, I could see myself romancing Cullen twice in a row

If Cullen can be used at all as a temporary companion I suspect a PC gamer will have code to allow a full Cullen mod companion. That would be pretty dang awesome. Have they confirmed/denied he will ever be in the party at any point?

It would be awesome, but I have a feeling we will never be in control of our advisors. He'll probably tag along, if he even goes with us anywhere.

I'm waving weakly at you all! My surgery went fine (for those of you that know about it- to those who didn't I kinda had brain surgery. It worked out lol!) and the tumor in my brain was non-cancerous ! Huzzzaaaaah! Still in the hospital but things are going well.

Mello that picture of Cullen is amazing! I especially love the hand position for some reason! May I ask why he's wearing a cross necklace?

Seriously though, Solas must be a huge deal or something to be revealed so late despite being 'revealed' a while ago. I think maybe he can do something cool...like an actual dreamer, or someone who can do eluvian stuff.

 

Here's hoping! I think they're just finalizing his look and what they want to say in Q&A though really. I think that's what DG hinted at in terms of "why do we release what we release when we release it" lol
