I'm waving weakly at you all! My surgery went fine (for those of you that know about it- to those who didn't I kinda had brain surgery. It worked out lol!) and the tumor in my brain was non-cancerous ! Huzzzaaaaah! Still in the hospital but things are going well.

Mello that picture of Cullen is amazing! I especially love the hand position for some reason! May I ask why he's wearing a cross necklace?

Also favor to ask- does anyone have links of the interviews for Cole or Dorian or Iron Bull?

Oh I am so not sure about Dorian now, I love that he is a reluctant Tevinter magister kind of guy, just love the 'goes against my evil brethren' stories but he always makes me feel just by looking at him that he just got back from tying a damsel to the railway line...to slick and sly.

Is it possible to romance everyone at same time? Judging from the constant "I'm going to sleep with you!" from people I would love for that to be an option. Even though I'm Cassandra-sexual 

 

Probaply you can sleep with all of them but I think it will lead to situation where you have to choose the one who you want like in previous games. I doubt you can finish game with romancing everyone ^^;

I think they meant, and I am not sure if they actually said this...they might have, but I thought they meant that in the way of recreating you're previous world states, including what your warden and Hawke got up to, their personalities, that sort of thing. Not in how they actually looked.

So reading up on all the companions and watching the links that were awesomely shared I am still very excited for this game, just like everyone else!
So because I haven't been here I'm saying my thoughts as brief as I can in catch up! (It won't be brief lol!)

I know that liking the way a person looks depends entirely on the individual (thank God or only 2% of the worlds population would ever get laid!) but I think it's pretty amazing and cool that the creators went a little out of the box this time. In terms of not just having characters who look like super models lol. (That is of course, also a good look) However, it feels like more in this game then the other DA ones this set of followers have something more unique to them.

I LIKE that Cassandra has sharper features and a strong presence and I love that Sera DOES have a stink eye and kinda looks like a feisty brat who could totally take you and teach you horrifying jokes! Blackwall really looks like the older and more experienced soldier who could have all these amazing points of view and story's to tell with his big bushy beard! Evan Peters really looks like a young man who is both lost, in need of comfort but potentially very dangerous and a tad creepy. Wait, I mean Cole! Dorian looks like a sexy version of Snidely Whiplash! I also think Solaas looks really interesting and cool. It's GREAT they made him bald because how often does that look happen in these games? I know a lot of folks don't like him because of his looks but I bet he will be an absolutely amazing character with a very intriguing role. They are saving him for a reason I think. Iron Bull is a Qunari- that's unique lol! Also +10 for the eyepatch! They also kinda roughed Varric up with the broken nose and scars which is groovy.

Now as far as looks go I am most excited about Vivienne. She really looks like a black woman. My oldest daughter (who is adopted like my other two girls) is black and I am always so happy when games include strong, beautiful black women who ACTUALLY look black. I love her eyes, her nose, her full lips and I especially love her dark skin. Black Skin of any color is beautiful, whether it's a more fair shade because a person is biracial or just has that pigmentation, a shade in between or has a much deeper tone it's always lovely - but because of the way our current society is (in the U.S at least) it's usually rare to find main characters in games and other media that have women with truly dark skin. Typically you will find news companies prefer to hire biracial or lighter skinned blacks because "It makes the general viewership more comfortable." Urgh! It's 2014 and there are still so many unfair disadvantages for minorities of any kind. Being gay and in the deep south I've had to overcome some tough things, but like any father I worry about the prejudices my daughter will face far, far more.
So, I love that she has very dark skin because maybe it's small and just one part of a game, but it's another piece in the world that says "look, this skin is just as beautiful as any other." So thank you Bioware. I don't know if you meant for any impact like that when you made her character but irregardless it truley does matter.

I'd love to comment on how Amazing and perfect and flawless Cullen looks but we keep seeing pictures and videos of Leliana and Morrigan. Again. And not in lion masks.

Now to be fair I am saying how amazing it is that the characters in this game are unique and not modelish looking but in DA2 Cullen definitely rocked the "I do my little turn on the catwalk" thing lol! Even though I'm thrilled to bits bioware is branching out with the way their characters look Let's still hope some of that grade A stud look still carries over for Cullen though!

I agree with you about the character designs.  In previous Dragon Age games, one of the first mods (I play on PC) I downloaded were ones that 'fixed' how the NPCs and companions looked.  But this time...?  Nope.  I love how every single companion so far looks.  Just amazing, amazing work.  Everyone is so unique and lifelike and beautiful, and it sounds like they have personalities to match.

lol Sera reminds me of me back in my teenage years, the 80's, I rocked the Cleopatra eyes...a little too often lol 

 

I agree though, I love how there are no stereo typical 'good lookers'.  It forces you to look past the surface and see into their soul sort of thing. Too much is placed on physical beauty.
