lol Sera reminds me of me back in my teenage years, the 80's, I rocked the Cleopatra eyes...a little too often lol

I agree though, I love how there are no stereo typical 'good lookers'.  It forces you to look past the surface and see into their soul sort of thing. Too much is placed on physical beauty.

Lol, Cleopatra eyes is my default makeup choice!

I think Vivienne comes the closest to having model good looks but even she's not entirely flawless.

What's A-game ?

I hope Dorian has a deeper, darker personality cause the guys who are handsome, know they are handsome and show you they know they are handsome.... Meh.

Anyway all your enthusiastic reactions towards this pretentious pretty face give me an idea...

/me leave with a creepy chuckle

Aw, c'mon. Just cos Dorian's pretty and he knows it doesn't necessarily mean he's gonna be shallow or nasty. If it's one thing BioWare avoids it's creating paper thin characters. Hell, Cullen was the hottest thing to grace Thedas in DA2 and he wasn't arrogant in the slightest, lol.

But I think it fits her personality, from what we know of her. So it actually works for her.

LOL I imagine she would have a couple of lady servants that follow her round all day, just to tell her how magnificent she looks.

OT: So a friend of mine was talking about tweeting Patrick Weekes about BioWare selling a leatherbound copy of the Chant of Light - he tweeted this back:

 Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes · 1h

You want Dave for Chant, @BioMaryKirby for Qun, @SherylChee for dick jokes.

XD I love the devs.

This is curious, because didn't Mary say that she writes the Chant verses...?

So reading up on all the companions and watching the links that were awesomely shared I am still very excited for this game, just like everyone else!
So because I haven't been here I'm saying my thoughts as brief as I can in catch up! (It won't be brief lol!)

Ah, agree, and thanks for sharing! Esp about Viv. But, "sexy Snidely Whiplash" deserves a special shoutout! ;)

I am betting he will be the second most gentle unassuming person in the group next to Cullen. He just has too much of the shallow look for him not to be completely opposite.

Definitely, plus she's Orlesian so perfection is expected of you! I wonder what she's like once you get to know her? I mean, surely she isn't gonna be entirely cold/ruthless/whatever? Does she have a secret love of Dwarven Ale? Y'know, something completely unfabulous and unbecoming that she'd never openly admit to liking because it's embarrassing or whatever. Or maybe she was originally a gutter rat who came from nothing. Something like that.

Well, he's supposed to be very witty and charming so he's obviously gonna be a little "in your face" with it, but that doesn't mean that he'd be like "urgh, look at that hideous woman/man over there. I loathe ugly people!" Or goodness knows what. It's entirely possibly to be judgmental and picky about your own physical appearance, without being picky and judgmental of others. If that makes sense?

I won't get in details but I'm not fond of all characters BW created even if they're usually good at creating companions. And it's too late , this cocky magister gave me an idea. Can't get it ouf of my head now. :D

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean....*coughs* do that a lot to myself sometimes lol

Someone over in the Dorian thread I think it was compared him to Doc from swtor, his looks at least. But Doc was also very witty and charming but he also had that compassion and depth to him that he didn't show but you knew was there. I think Dorian could be a lot like that.

Since we are on the topic of other companions, who does everyone see Cullen getting along with. I have this strange feeling that Iron Bull is going to make him feel uncomfortable from the way he is being presented. I could see Iron Bull just incessantly trying to get Cullen to lay with somebody and Cullen just tries to avoid as much conversation with him as possible

I think he's going to get along well with Cassandra but maybe not so much with Leliana. Leliana supposedly is changed by the explosion in the beginning, and I guess that she might be an opposite to Cullen's ways of doing things (being a templar most of his life, putting duty first etc.)

I'd love to see some interaction with Cullen and Varric and also Sera. Vivienne and Dorian as well. Ah, who am I kidding, I just want to see Cullen interact with pretty much anyone and I'm still sad he's no companion

I think it means to try very hard, to do your best and a little bit more. Unless it's a slang for some weird sexual activity, like pretty much everything in English

I think he will get on better with Cassandra and maybe Blackwall, being warriors and defenders, and those two seem like they have less issues than the other companions.

I think Varric and Iron Bull will try his patience a lot, Sera I am thinking she may have a little distaste for Humans and soldiers, not too much but enough to make her snarky towards them more often than not.

I am interested in how he is going to handle all the mages in the group AND Cole!, that will be interesting.

A-game is just a term for pulling out all the stops. It's... um... an expression, I guess? Not sure if I explained that correctly.

And I'm sorry for finding a character interesting you don't?

It's kind of... insulting? to have our enthusiasm hand waved as 'oh, you people just liking his pretty face'. I've been interested in Dorian since his survey leak because I like 'brazen and clever' characters-- that's the reason I like Snarky!Hawke too. It's one of the many character archtypes I personally gravitate towards because I'm attracted to wit. Dorian seems witty and charming.

lol, pander Bull, I can see it!

I think Cullen and Varric will probably get along well :) Varric's interview says he's not happy to be so far away from home, and Cullen is at least a familiar face.

Cullen and Blackwall - I hope they will be friends. Maybe Cullen and Cass will be friends too, unless there is something we don't know about, like something Cullen has been doing after Kirkwall, and she found out, and now disapproves (like, hiding from the Seeker of the Chantry, because he let that murderer Anders just walk away).

This gif is a beautiful thing.

Even more so given my strange attraction to any greaser that has been in a movie ever-- at least the movies I've watched. They always end up my favourites for some reason.

Hi everyone :)
I'm waving weakly at you all! My surgery went fine (for those of you that know about it- to those who didn't I kinda had brain surgery. It worked out lol!) and the tumor in my brain was non-cancerous ! Huzzzaaaaah! Still in the hospital but things are going well.
:D

Oh I'm so glad you're okay! It was just the other day I realised you hadn't popped in a while and I was worried about you! Hope you and your whole family are happy and healthy and you get to normal health and stuff soon! I want you waving vigorously at us!

Agreed. Given the sh!t we've all had for liking Cullen with the constant accusations of "because he's hot", Cullenites should know better than to judge.

I think he will get along best with companions who are moderate, like order and have strong morals. I can see him getting well along with Blackwall. Varric, Sera and Iron Bull will probaply tease him and be little too mischievous for his liking but I think he will get like them as well. I think it depends on how pro-mage and anti-Tevinter Dorian really is, if he will get along with him or not. Vivienne and Cassandra seem like "to best end by any means" -people. I think they might clash with Cullen because of this but I'm not sure, we will have to see what kinda way Cullen has gone between the games. I don't think Cullen will get together with Cole because he's from fade, I hope they will but I don't think they'll ^^;

I second this. It will definitely make for interesting dialogue with Cullen.

Inquisitor: So Cullen I found out that you are not as honorable as I thought you were.

Cullen: Why whatever could you mean Inquisitor?

Inquisitor: *Stares intently at Cullen*

Cullen: Ok I admit it I have been shirking my duties and have been going to the tavern more than I should. It'll never happen again!

Inquisitor: Will it?

Cullen: You have my word! Please can we just forget about this? *starts tearing up*

Inquisitor: *hugs Cullen* It's ok Cullen, everything will be alright.
