And Dorian and Cullen will totally be friends, and they will talk about hair all the time, and everybody will envy their awesome bromance!
So, my sort of hopes for potential straight girl LI romance are Cullen, Dorian, and Solas. I could so see my undecided Inquisitor walking into a scene not unlike the one above, turning around, and quietly walking out...
Inquisitor: *mutters* The bald one it is.
I think he will get along best with companions who are moderate, like order and have strong morals. I can see him getting well along with Blackwall. Varric, Sera and Iron Bull will probaply tease him and be little too mischievous for his liking but I think he will get like them as well. I think it depends on how pro-mage and anti-Tevinter Dorian really is, if he will get along with him or not. Vivienne and Cassandra seem like "to best end by any means" -people. I think they might clash with Cullen because of this but I'm not sure, we will have to see what kinda way Cullen has gone between the games. I don't think Cullen will get together with Cole because he's from fade, I hope they will but I don't think they'll ^^;
I don't think Dorian will be anti-Tevinter exactly. I mean, he's against what the people from his country are doing from what we can tell not his country itself. In fact he seems to want to save his country from the rubbish going on there and how it's been made into the 'bad guy' because of it. That indicated a love for his country, just not the government.
I am hoping Dorian will be moderate, though. So I'm hoping they'll get along. I will be somewhat annoyed if Cullen doesn't learn to make nice with ANY mage companion. 
Actually, I'm hoping Dorian is as much like Rhett Butler as he seems to be.
I second this. It will definitely make for interesting dialogue with Cullen.
Inquisitor: So Cullen I found out that you are not as honorable as I thought you were.
Cullen: Why whatever could you mean Inquisitor?
Inquisitor: *Stares intently at Cullen*
Cullen: Ok I admit it I have been shirking my duties and have been going to the tavern more than I should. It'll never happen again!
Inquisitor: Will it?
Cullen: You have my word! Please can we just forget about this? *starts tearing up*
Inquisitor: *hugs Cullen* It's ok Cullen, everything will be alright.

And I'm sorry for finding a character interesting you don't? I wasn't aware that was something I wasn't allowed.
It's kind of... insulting? to have our enthusiasm hand waved as 'oh, you people just liking his pretty face'. I've been interested in Dorian since his survey leak because I like 'brazen and clever' characters-- that's the reason I like Snarky!Hawke too. It's one of the many character archtypes I personally gravitate towards because I'm attracted to wit. Dorian seems witty and charming.
I can only presume/hope that the moderate side of things also counts for the companions/advisors, given that our DA2 companions were pretty extreme in varying ways (except Aveline and Varric).

Well you never know. People did used to say that Allistar and Cullen looked similar. Maybe Bioware will take it a step further and make Cullen a wandering drunk too. 
Agreed. Given the sh!t we've all had for liking Cullen with the constant accusations of "because he's hot", Cullenites should know better than to judge.

I can say people have a nice 'design', but I don't find them attractive unless I am digging their character.

So far, the only companion we've had who could give us a first hand account of what Tevinter is like was Fenris... and his view came from a very specific perspective. I love that we have the opportunity to learn about it from the other side, from a source that isn't just some random villain we encounter.
As a romance, yes... it's pretty much his face And I like a confident guy with a bit of swagger and a sense of humor. Admittedly, Dorian does remind me at least superficially of Awakening Anders, who would have made a really fun LI (I do like DA2 Anders, but he's a very different person there.)

Awakening Anders was so much fun! Have you played The Wolf Among Us? There's a character called Jack (Beanstalk Jack) and he not only looks like DA:A Anders but his personality is exactly how I imagined Anders would have been like in DA2 if he hadn't merged with Justice.

Thanks I will! Whenever I played awkening I usually brought along Nate, Velanna (hope I spelled that right), and Ohgren. They made for great banter and party setup.
