I don't think Solas would be straight, if he is a LI, otherwise that would mean the only 2 elf companions are for females only.

My only "minor" issue with Dorian is that TO ME he has a very "stereotypical" look to him. If you showed me the thirteen companions and asked me which one I thought would be gay, I'd point to Dorian. Is that good or bad? Obviously there is something about his look that immediately struck a chord with a lot of guys. 

 

Well, the important thing is, he's going to make a lot of gamers (gaymers ) happy.

Honestly, at this point, Idgaf if he looks "stereotypical". He's a fully gay companion, one of two, and he looks and sounds badass, so I personally am very pleased and so goddamn excited.

Lol, to be honest, if the 2 advisors were the 2 only bi, I'd take that like a : "they're just npc, why bother writing a personnalized romance...?"

That may be silly but I'd be less worried if it was Cullen or Scribble bi  (let's say Cullen just for ya^^) + a companion.

Yes, I have that stupid dream that our advisors will be treated with the same writing quality as the companions, even if they don't go out with our quizzy.

 

As for Dorian, so we'll have to be just good friends, or not. I don't feel like playing a dudequisitor for the moment.

But that's actually the main reason I fear Cullen is straight; there's no reason to make a character straight (usually it happens organically as you write the character; you realize, oh, s/he's straight). So it's the less interesting characters who will end up straight... and I fear that's the NPCs in the eyes of the writers.

But that's actually the main reason I fear Cullen is straight; there's no reason to make a character straight (usually it happens organically as you write the character; you realize, oh, s/he's straight). I think it's possible.

 

If there's a significant amount of race-gating, it may in fact be necessary for there to be more than six LIs for certain Inquisitors to have even one potential romance.

Cuz this just kinda falls into my nightmare scenario abt how the NPC's will be treated. (I'm still bummed abt Cullen being an NPC--but, you know, eff it)

I wonder if I'm even gonna get a dude Companion for LI? Cuz I'm not sure what's gonna happen with Varric, or IB. And I doubt they're gonna have all the male Companions available as LI's.
