Straight male here. But I respect your preferences friend. I may not like Cullen romantically but to me he will be like Cortes, a great advisor and friend. His looks are also important to me as well. I'd like my Inquisition to look as awesome as they can be.

 

Edit: Not to say I don't like to roleplay different characters. Dorian and Cullen sounds like they may have interesting romance arcs

I think in this situation, it's more because Blackwall has neither been confirmed or denied as a romance yet.

I find him so far more attractive in DAI because he seems ... less attractive.!
He's older and his face features look less regular and perfect.
Also, I've always imagined him with scars and I see one on Lolalei's picture.
The only thing I am worried with is his stature : on the war table official pic, he looks really large. I like big guys but not the James Vega type. The E3 trailer reassured me a bit on his corpulence. But I need to see more like everyone else.

I want the shock and awe as well. Although, I'd prefer a living Cullen at the end of it all! Once I get a good proper look at his character blurb (assuming there will be one) I may try hard to put the blinders on so as to avoid too many spoilers.
