OHhhhh!!! I was hoping as much! I would think you would have to have just as close a relationship with the advisors as your companions, because they help you run the Inquisition. I love it!

Man, this thread moves with lightspeed. How the hell did it ever end up on page 2?

 

 

It started after you left. It's one of the reasons the Cullen thread became what it is today. We stopped going into the main da3 forums because it was just one Cullen hate thread after another. It was safer to just stick to our own.

I had no idea. I took a break from the forum after "Evil" Chris closed the character threads in the Mass Effect forum. And then I decided to take another looong break when users were seriously attacking one of the DA 2 writers (as a matter of fact, I just found out how bad things really got when I stumbled about an article on Polygon yesterday). Sometimes so much intolerance scares me. *Sigh* I mean, I took several writing seminars and therefore I really enjoy discussing characters. Also, I think it can be good to hear different opinions about characters, story archs and so on. Unfortunately, discussions like these often end with bashing and flame wars. Understandable that character X will always be more appealing to some players than character Y. But why can't they tolerate that other players like character Y better? Or why can't there be a discussion o neutral ground? That's just beyond me. Sorry. I will stop now. I didn't mean to bring any negativity into this thread but I needed to vent a little. 

 

 

 

I'm sure this has been discussed before, and I'm not trying to start a flame war, but do Cullen fans really think his rendition in DA:I is an improvement over his depiction in DA:2? I know Cullen gets a lot of flak for his hair, but his face in Inquisition looks all wrong... I know we haven't really gotten a clear face pic and the one below might not be an accurate representation of what he looks like in-game, but who here thinks that Cullen, so far, looks MORE attractive than he has in the past?? 

 

As others have pointed out, we really haven't seen that much of Cullen yet. However, based on what we did see, I really like his  DAI look. He looks older and more experienced. And since he is an advisor, I think that's a good thing. I hope he got the opportunity to travel and learn a bit.

 

 

 

And this is why I'll stay away from the internet the last months before release...If something shocking happens(with my luck that would be Cullen dying  )I want to experience the feels first hand...

 

Yes, same here. I absolutely hate spoilers. I have the feeling that I already learned too much about DAI. But I am weak and can't stay away from the forum. I hope that I will be able to level up my willpower soon enough.

Me too...Although I'm glad I know who the companions are,so that I won't miss anyone in my first playthrough...Besides I couldn't stay away from this thread even if I tried.

I prefer DAO Cullen The graphics is so outdated now, but the shape of his face and his features have a story to tell DAII features suit the Knight-Captain better, I think: pretty and calm on the outside, but that's just his official face, he rarely opens up. DAO Cullen is more open, I think.

 

DAI Cullen looks great, but I want to see him in HD first. I like that intense look, and scars, and that features seem to be closer to DAO, but I think his nose is kind of boring now. They made his eyes bigger though, I definitely like it. He had tiny eyes in both DAO and DAII. Overall I think his face looks good: it's more realistic, less plastic, and it's still recognisable.
