No declensions in English; a dog is a dog is a dog, unless there are dogs, or it is the dog's  We do conjugate dem verbs though.

Personal pronouns are the odd exception; they have declensions and gender.

I was always a B-student in math :( Science, too, although I love physics. But I just can't cut it.

I got an A in GCSE Maths and now I can barely add two one digit numbers together!

Oh I could never do those! I'm just grateful they only came up once on one paper! I was good at triangles though!

Same :D if I get just one of them I'll be happy. Losing Cullen would be a painful blow, but the strong arms of Blackwall might soothe my pain :P

Here's hoping! It wouldn't be too bad waiting for the wiki to update though.

Someone will end up transcribing that section of the strategy guide and posting it on BSN... that's what I used last time. :D

Cullen is human? It's confirmed he has no elven parents, then. What spoilers!

I had no idea. ... I didn't mean to bring any negativity into this thread but I needed to vent a little.

Understandable. You're in good company. Luckily, things have looked up of late. Folks even... wait for it... defend us these days. :D

at least it's true

Blond is masculine, Blonde is feminine. Discuss the implications of this for Cullen. GO! :P

LOL This is just what I was going to say. So... not strictly true. :D

... I'm still scarred from finding out this spelling snafu AFTER entitling one of my fics about Cullen's hair  "Blonde."

BTW, is the adjective also feminine? Because it was used as an adjective, not a noun. Do adjectives have gender in English?

Blonde is only a noun, and only used for women. The adjective form is only blond, and is used for both genders.

LOL He could still have only one elven parent, since elf + human results is human, not just human-looking. :D

O_O ROMANCE SECTION PLEASE

The DA2 romance section post was pretty funny because it used all these terms we (those without the strat guide) didn't  yet understand, like talking about "the Rivaini" and folks wondering if that was a separate person than Isabela. LOL

I thought Mike was referring to the color of his hair. You guys call hair blonde regardless of the gender of the person who that hair belongs to, right?
Saying "Cullen is a blonde" would be a mistake, but Mike said "Cullen is blonde", meaning he has blonde hair. That's how I understand it.

Yeah, I decided to remove Hawke's heraldry from the wall from this version because it made the dragon hard to see. I may go back to the regular one, tho. :D

Ah I thought something was missing. I never realised you had the Hawke heraldry in your avatar though!

Feminine is never default; it would offend all those masculine nouns

Seriously? Because every dictionary I have says blonde is an adjective too, used to describe fair haired people or light colored furniture.
Edit: You are an American, right? Looks like in America blond is default indeed: http://www.oxforddic.../english/blonde I studied British English as a default, so my dictionaries follow their rules most of the time :)

I just referenced "Dorian and his porno stash" (meaning "stache") on Twitter, and now I have this image of Dorian standing with a handful of dirty mags, looking all sad because I won't let him come on our adventures.

OK, according grammar girl you can use blonde as an adjective to describe a women, altho it's less common. I just categorically never use the 'e' anymore.

http://www.quickandd...blond-or-blonde

But, regardless, it can't be used to describe Cullen in noun or adjective form.  I comfort myself with thinking that the title of my story is now just ironic. :D
