I just noticed that talking hair. I wonder if that was for the VA interview, or there's actually banter where Cullen discusses his hair! Which could also mean there's some no doubt awesome ME3 Normandy style banter between the advisors and possibly the other companions.

I totally would not have a problem with him being the male voice of the main character for the next Mass Effect game. Just sayin'. ![]()

I interpreted this as things he'd end up talking about during his interview session with Jessica, since that was the same session.

I don't think they keep tweaking the appearances much. Maybe the screenshots we were given are from pre-alpha, because I got the impression that now the game is mostly ready, and they are catching and fixing bugs

I guess BioWare gave this weekend for Dorian to "breathe", now I expect Solas on Monday, and then.... Leliana
And maybe Scribbles and Cullen then?

Really? Would youtube have some of the early DA2 stuff?

I think Cullen will have be on a Thursday/Friday. Just because I think they'll release the GE interview to coincide with his info dump and a video's a sort of Friday thing.

So how are you going setup your party? Who's tank, DPS and healer? You have any hybrids planned?

I'll probably rotate party members out quite a bit, but I'll be using Cass a lot because I think she and my Inquisitor will be good friends.

I don't usually bother about that stuff; I play with whomever fits the story best (or whomever I just like the most). And I won't know that until I start the game, I guess!

My gaming strategy has always been this:
DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS *dies* oops looks like I NEED MORE DPS

I play on nightmare so what sucks about that is I can't use the companions I like usually. Playing on nightmare usually means I MUST have a tank and MUST have a healer at minimum. It all depends on my class. I want to play mage my first time through but it's dependent on if Bioware finally gave mages cool looking armor and not dunce caps. I hope it's not too much to ask for mages to wear extremely light battle armor rather than pure cloth.

The first time I play a game, I typically do it on casual, or lately normal, as I've gotten a bit better at figuring out game mechanics (I still remember with fondness that long ago day when my guy friends insisted I join in on that game of Halo - I pretty much just ran around in circles and got stuck in the corners while getting shot at - fun times...
).
That way I can fast-forward through the fighting, so to speak, and concentrate on the story. The second time I'll play on hard or nightmare, depending on how ambitious I'm feeling, to make the game feel fresh and to give me a challenge. I'm still not that great at strategy though... probably because i think defensive stuff is boring
I just want take those bastards down, in as flashy a way as possible!

Halo is always like that at first
That was me once, too. But I practiced, practiced, practiced until I could kick all their asses. Revenge was sweet.
I usually start on normal, then do casual on my second playthrough, where I can pay more attention to the story and characters. I'll play hard later for a challenge, but playing on nightmare doesn't really interest me. It's just like hard but... harder. And hard is hard enough
Though I've never played hard with a full party.

I'll first have to see how the healing system has changed. I'm thinking all the mages are going to to be healers in some respect, along with whatever their specializations means they get specced into. (I play on console, so if Vivienne turns out to be the Arcane Enchanter, well, she's probably going to be a psuedo-tank DPS'er. No mods for me!) After that, well, I'll probably have a rotating system the first run through, but I really like the system of one-tank, three-ranged, one of which is a rogue. (DA2 made this super hard with Isabela being a DW rogue. Again, no mods.)
That said, the party of Dorian, Bull, and Cole sounds like it could be a nice, neutral-toned party. Bull will be the tank, of course, so I'll spec him into a sword-and-board, and Cole will be an archer. Dorian will be a healer, as much as he can be, will some nice Nightmare-friendly spells.
I also imagine that this party will be one that Cullen wrings his hands at. ![]()

But I didn't even answer the question did I!? Hmm... I do like Cass a lot so I could see using her as my tank... hoping sword and shield is better than in DA2, else I'll let her two-hand it. Cole will probably be my default rogue, at least my first playthrough - I like Varric but would prefer to use someone new, and Cole is just super compelling to me as a character. And either Solas or Dorian as my mage - leaning more toward Solas but that's based on admittedly scant info. It might change when they finally do his reveal, but... I really want to play a necromancer, so Dorian might be bit redundant...
In other words, I'll use the characters I like best the most
Honestly, that's more important to me than who fights together best. But I will be switching people out a lot, since it looks like with all that exploration we'll have plenty of time to spend with everyone, and i want to get to know them all!
Cullen will of course be my romance of choice the first time around... assuming i can get him to love my eccentric and slightly creepy but with a good heart necromancer back ![]()

Haha, I'll bet! Glad to know I'm not the only one... I think i'm just not very good at shooters though. The first time I played Mass Effect it was funny, because I picked infiltrator (it sounded cool, and I had no idea what biotics were) and all these characters in the game were telling me what a fantastic soldier I am, and I was like... umm, really dude...? Clearly you were not watching ![]()
