Morning everyone!

Not exactly Cullen related but just in case you haven't seen this,here are some nice samples of the music in the E3 trailers.

Guys, OT but FOR REAL. How in the hell did you get to 1700+ pages? I can't fathom it.

 

 

Also they did indeed change Anders a lot but I think that was a change in writers and voice actor. Cullen has same VO so the tone wouldn't change as much, I think. I've had to mod Anders' face in Awakening to look more like him in 2 and I keep having to place Adam Howden's voice onto Ellis'... so difficult. It's made Awakening kind of a pain to play... inconsistency really bugs me.

I can well relate to your feelings Except I also live in fear that I won't get Cullen, either. I don't enjoy or feel comfortable romancing a male character with a female character; it's not what RPGs are about for me. Knowing my only options for romance could be the characters I like least (Dorian and Solas) is heartbreaking. And not getting Cullen is, well, a knife to the metaphorical gut, really.

He'll be bi. I have my fingers AND toes crossed that no-one misses out it's going to make breakfast a little awkward, but it could work

Yes news on Solas being released Monday is what most people are thinking and I agree.

 

Also hopefully for those who are waiting in the utmost anticipation for the advisors get the same treatment as the companions (interview, quote, etc.)

I don't think they'd leave us disappointed. We already know GE has done a VO interview, so in some respects Cullen fans will be getting more info than many of the other companions' fans already

Yea I will not be surprised if the Cullenites got the most info considering they have been building his character up from the last two games! That has to count for something I think

Me too! We really know so little about him, Vivienne's clothes gave away hints of her personality, as did Dorian's well-groomed appearance. The character blurbs from the old survey added yet another dimension. But Solas really seems to remain a mystery so far. I have no idea what to expect

He is just really interesting to me, beyond his face, I feel like he's going to be really interesting. Plus, depending on how much Dorian talks about handsome he is or superior because of his skillz, Solas will probably be the only Mage I bring with me. I don't think my inquisitor and Vivienne will get along and I know that might make some mad that I say that but it's just in my game. She's a neat addition, but, she sounds too much like a diva and I will not be nagged. Plus those outfits are really intricate and I just don't like any of them at all. I know Solas looks like he's on long johns but I'd rather wear his outfit than Vivienne 's puffy, pointy froo froo dresses. *hides from potato cat* I can barely my eyes open. *yawn* Goodnight, Cullenites!

So how are you going setup your party? Who's tank, DPS and healer? You have any hybrids planned?

I usually roll on normal during my first pt, and then try to rotate my party a lot. I am a sucker for funny, hence some setups might be used more often than others. If I think my pc has better dynamics with a particular companion, I bring them more often. Same thing about LI, so I'm still a bit sad about Cullen not tagging along my quizzy. At this point I am the most psyched about Cassandra, Sera and Iron Bull. I don't even know what race/class I will roll first, changing opinion every few days

I'll start off on normal/casual to get myself used to the game and its' workings. I'm not naturally good at gaming so I build myself up slowly. I'll try all the companions out to start with and then put together a group based on a combination of fun factor and ease of use. LI on first playthrough is clearly going to be Cullen, female character, almost definitely human, and probably a mage. Rogue is still in contention though

I love how everyone has different opinions- I really love Vivi and her outfits, I want her to take my Inquisitor shopping, so that my team can go take down dragons dressed like it's Mardi Gras

 

At this point all the characters intrigue me, how they end up in-game could really surprise me- most people I know would have really expected me to like Merrill because she's similarly optimistic, and awkwardly rambly to me, but I really didn't relate to her outside of that. So I'm expecting a lot of surprises so much anticipation

If he's using proper grammar, then he means Cullen WAS a templar! Meaning, he no longer is.

I didn't read that as a past tense at all.  He could just as well use IS and the sentence would still mean the same to me. 

Like...'I never knew she was a mum'.  She still is, I just didn't know that.
