Why stop at the chantry.
I'd let him venture into my Deep Roads any day.
Is that a Rod of Fire in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
And to Dorian: Are you a tevinter magister? Because my Golden City just became tainted.
....I'm supposed to be studying for an exam, I'm getting desperate for procrastination excuses.
This one killed me!xD

So... why don't you show me your... Cone of Cold?
Are you from the Fade? Because I swear I've seen you in my dreams
So... why don't you show me your... Holy Smite?

The best way to infiltrate a circle would be posing as a tranquil. Shave your head, get a tattoo, and BOOM! You're just scenery.
This is brilliant!

Agreed. Though that scene always seemed strange to me, expecially after reading Asunder.I'm still trying to process the idea that what we saw at the end of DA2 with Cassandra and Leliana was actually the fledgling Inquisition!

"Absolutely, kitten."
Bwahaha, gosh, that would be a hoot... imagining how Isabela's euphemism list would continue in DA:I.
"Breach your Fade"
"Ride your Bull"
"Twirl your mustache"
"Liberate your Keep"
"Climb your Pillar"
"Mount your unicorn"

Me too. Especially since they kept saying that it's our protagonist who forms the bloody thing. I reckon they decided to make it the fledgling Inquisition because it didn't really make sense why the pair of them were there together in Seeker armour.
Leaves me wondering what "plan B" was that Cassandra mentioned, since plan B was supposed to be the Divine's idea for reforming the Inquisition.

A little bit of me wonders if they'd already found our Inquisitor at that point and REALLY didn't want to put them in charge, but had to when they realised the Warden and Hawke were AWOL
Speculation is fun ![]()

Given the suspicion cast upon the Inquisitor, I don't think we're the ones forming the Inquisition. Cam's ausgamer interview, Cassandra's distrust of us, plus this old chestnut now make me think we may start out as much a pawn as anything else.

As we've discussed in the past, the soldiers and flag already have the Inquisition trappings.

I think howewer that the DA2 scene was already planned to be the fledging inquisiton. The same guide, I think, hinted at the possibility of the Inquisition reforming. And the did planned DAI already, with DA2 being a smaller game to close the gap between DAO and DAI.
On that note, I'd have been really happy if they'd have called DA2 Exodus.

What's interesting is that there's only Leliana and Cassandra up there. If Scribbles and Cullen are also the face of the Inquisition shouldn't they be up there too?

The twosome inquisition where you can only play as Leliana or Cassandra.Nobody would expect that ![]()
But yeah I agree with you on the part of it not making any sense why the pair of them were in Seeker armor if they were the fledgeling inquisition. It seems as if they were waiting for a proper leader before they officially call themselves the Inquisiton. I mean I guess they could make Cassandra a leader, but from what we know of her she does not seem to want to lead anything completely and utterly. This is just my guess though.

Maybe this is a non-spoiler version they made? Leliana and Cassandra were already heavily suspected to be part of it.

Perhaps they had wanted to make the Warden or Hawke the leader but couldn't find them to recruit them?

True! I think it would be kinda nice to be up on that stage with Leliana, Cass, Scribbles and Cullen being introduced as the leader of the Inquisition.

That's a really interesting theory. With those (or either of those) at the lead the Inquisition could've taken advantage of their popularity in certain groups to close the war peacefully.

Maybe but it seemed like Hawke got really dragged in to the whole Mage/Templar conflict so I am not too sure of him. The warden I could see. Did anything indicate when they started searching for him/her?

We're ostensibly the leader, but initially, I could see us being at least intended to be more of a figurehead. I mean, it's not like we're democratically elected or we earned the position, you know? We're probably being used for our special Fade hand. Heck, maybe that's why we have pillars to help us "run" the Inquisition. I mean, it's a pretty big jump to go from Cassandra considering you the only threat she sees to letting you lead the whole organization. So anyway, it's a conundrum I've been considering.

Perhaps they wanted both of them as part of it for that reason.

I do remember them saying in Cassandra's interview, I think, that Hawke was originally 'seeked' out to help calm the **** of the group they sided with.

Well, she wanted Hawke to appeal to the mages/templars (depending on who you sided with) to stop the war. So, I guess the Warden would be used to stop whatever it is that's going on with the Wardens currently.
